you have saved me so much money! I was working with 4 bases and 7 handsets. Now all my handsets save a couple of exstra work with my old base. Thanks so very much!
I tried this at least 6 times and each time it just went back to the "Out of Range" message. Then I read some of the comments and found one that said they disconnected the battery and it worked. So I did, and it did! Thanks for the video and thanks to Entertainment Gremlin for the battery tip!
Thank you so much. I bought a new individual VTech phone to replace my broken main one. It deregistered and was able to use it on my old base so I didn't have to spend $50 on two new ones.i only spent $18 for one 🎉🎊
Thank you so much. Please don’t ever delete this video. It’s the only one that helped me with these phones since factory doesn’t seem to give those types of instructions. I saved this video to my instructions fav folder for future reuse. Thanks again
THANK YOU! I was able to add my replacement handset from eBay, no problem after following your directions. I DID have to disconnect the battery for a moment after getting the "OK" to make it stick, so thanks to you folks for mentioning this.
Thank you. The VTech 17550 handsets from my 1st system were able to be deregistered and then simply placed in the base of my new system (again a VTech 17550) and self registered.
Had to buy one to replace the cs6114-11 model I broke but tossed the box, manual and receiver out as I left the store, assuming it would pair to our old receiver. It didn’t. Thanks for the help! Our younger daughter uses the home phone a lot and said you’re a nice and smart man! I subbed! Cheers :)
if you don't have the base, or deregistered your base when the handset wasn't powered up you can deregister the handset as follows *331734# and press menu/select key
Helo super good information, I have a question for you,do you know how register a new headset, because the old one was damage and a buy a new thar only say out of range, do you know who do it?
For me, I had to this a few times, back out, take out battery and press all buttons to kill the juice. After connecting battery Register sign came out.
this is not working on a Vtech LS 6405. My base went to hell and the satellite phones I can not find any way to deregister the 8 phones that were attached to it. With the base unplugged I get the out of range or no power to base message which I can not clear from the phone plug the main base back in there is no menu ability to get to registry screen option..
@@TheRadicalReseller All of the instructions work up to Test Handset. There is no “deregister” prompt to be found. Could the handset have already been deregistered?
This didn't work for my model either, but in another video there is a instruction to unplug the base station before de-registering. That did the trick!
I was able to Deregister my phone with these helpful instructions, but now it will not register to the base no matter what. I've tried everything, new battery, unplugged over night, press pound#, find headset, etc. And because it keeps saying to see the manual, I can no longer get to the settings or try anything else! Anybody have any suggestions, Vtech support is on forever hold
Hi Bob. Just checking did you have the manual for your phone base or could you look up the model number online and confirm that you are doing the register properly? Just an idea.
Thanks for the question. Do you mean To Register HS see manual? If so maybe somehow it lost its mind and is no longer paired with the base. Maybe try to register it again. Hope this helps.
@@juanstubbs25 for me, after deregistering, it states "OK." Make sure the power to the base is off (not entirely sure this part is necessary, but it worked for me). The I got to the screen message that states "to register see manual." Finally, place phone in the base and turn power to base on. After a few seconds, it should state " registering," which will take a few minutes. Then, the phone should be ready. I have two CS6919 phones, which I bought because I wanted to use the intercom function. Does anyone know if the intercom works between the same model phones? Both phones show "Handset 1." If they are both "Handset 1," then the intercom should work, right? These phones are unnecessarily difficult to configure, geez!
Thank you for your video, it was very helpful! Question: I have two CS6919 phones, which I bought because I wanted to use the intercom function. To deregister the handset and then register with a new base: Open Settings on handset. Type *7890# Test Handset Next Page Register clear. Ok - wait 5 minutes Remove reinsert the battery Place the phone in the base. Press and hold the “Find Handset” button on the base for 4 seconds. The LED comes on. Press # on handset. The handset should register with the new base.
