How to Descale the Keurig Machine *Easy *(Step by Step)

I looked for a video on how to descale my Keurig, and found yours. I followed the instructions and could not get the Descale light to go off. Went back over the instructions, realized I had added a step (pressing the Power button). Once I unplugged the machine and started over, it worked just as you instructed. Thanks so much for helping me get my Keurig Descale light off!

this video just saved my life!! my descale light came on and i immediately freaked out and googled what is decale on a kurig lol adding this video to my favorites!!!

I was like that frustrated until I figured it out too. Your video is correct on how to do it. Some videos still don't explain that the Keurig has to have those two buttons pressed together to see the 8 oz light blinking along with the descale light. Once it goes through the cycle that light finally turns off. I was at it most of the morning until I figured it out.

My descale light came on a solid light. No instructions in the manual at all. I had bought the Keurig descaler to refer to those instructions on the bottle. It was so wrong. Was getting real pissed when the descale light would never go out after rinsing with 5 containers of water later, still on. Your instructions fixed it lol. Although I didn't wait for 30 min. This time knowing I had already went through that before lol. I've always figured the manufacturer claims to not use vinegar or anything other than descaling sollution. But I think that's just to freak us out and make more money off of us. Anyway your instructions worked. But I won't use dish soap in there lol. There's no need for that in my opinion. Thanks.

Thank you for adding the video! This stupid "descale kit" I bought does NOT mention anything about the 10+3 for three seconds... I was about ready to throw this piece of crap in the dumpster 😂😂 Also, I ran the vinegar solution until I had to add more water. I refilled the reservoir, ran another two or three cups and the descale light went off without having to wait 30 mins...

For dummies like me: hold the 6oz and 8oz when the Keurig is OFF 😂

Oh my goodness I've tried every soultuions I could find and NOTHING I MEAN NOTHING WAS WORKING! I just did a DROP of dawn dish soap in the reservoir and filled the rest with water on the last cup the descale light came off.! And of course ran until I felt was confident it was all out. My machine is running so good now! Ty!!!

At home combine a large gallon bottle of vinegar with the skins of a bag of lemon or orange skins and let the gallon sit for 3+ weeks after you have nearly unlimited cleaning supplies. Keep the rotation going once u open a gallon to use. Make 3 total. At aldis each is like 2-3$
