Excellent case ,In all cases we need a control circuit to vary delta so that the output is regulated, is it possible to make a lecture on such a circuit, even broadly as block diagram I have a problem with power electronics generally that is it's telling only half of the story 😊

thank you for such useful video! I have one question about how to choose mosfet for such DC-DC converter. Particularly I'm interested in such parameter of MOSFET as "Vds". So since we calculated our converter for output voltage 10v under load 10 Ohm, I assume that if we will disconnect the load, output voltage will start increasing. So it may damage mosfet if it will be much bigger than Vds parameter of MOSFET. So how to properly calculate DC-DC output voltage when load is not attached?

It depend, if you have negative feedback, the system will modify the duty cycle to stay at the same output voltage. If you don't have negative feedback, and a changing load, your output voltage will change, and if you remove the load, output voltage will increase, and destroy your MOSFET, your diode, and your capacitor.

Hi my book gives the same formulas of the ripple voltage and inductor ripple current except that it divides it by 2. That is because it considers the current to be half the current ripple slope. Does this affects the calculation ?

if you increase the load resistance, the input current will be decreased by default.
