Please please please get a 3.0CL rearward subframe and design mounts using it! It has the mount location in almost the perfect location to line up with the T bracket and is clearanced for the transmission on the driver side since it had a J series in it! The same subframe was used in the 95-97 Accord V6. I'm unsure if it will work with the CB chassis, but its a direct swap into 94-97 Accords. It should allow the drivetrain to be moved back another inch or two for perfect axle alignment. I have a sneaking suspicion that with the correct length midshaft, the 3.0CL/95-97 V6 axles will be the perfect length for the swap as well. This would also allow for simplicity of J swaps, too. The timing side bracket/mount/post mount from the 3.0CL should also make things simpler for that swap, too, maybe also for a K.
I'm so glad to see cb7 getting some love finally 👌🏾so mount kit is available now now someone needs to make a plug an play harness now lol an us cb7/9 guys an gals are in there 😎
I can not wait for these to get in my hands - have a K24A and TSX 6SPD trans waiting to go and will not use any other mount company. The CB9 wagon will really scoot along once everything goes in. Thank you for all you do, Brian - Hasport mounts #1
The ability to design and create in 3D space is not all that common. You have a gift, and I love that you share this with the world. I am building a K1 Attack kit car and have been waiting for this new kit to be available for many months... very happy now that it is available. Thank you Brian for sharing your skills. Now all you need to do is allow shipping to Australia on your website !!
I have a 93 lx coupe and very interested in seeing you do a k-swap. There's not a lot of love for these cb7 coupes for k-swapps. Keep up the good work.
I got a 93 wagon ex teal green 5spd, almost was gonna bark out I'll trade you,but coupe is in some ruff condition compared to my wagon so bit my tongue 😮
@@VTECAcademy I'm curious the one your using for the swap came stock with a f23 right ? If so I wonder if your kit would work for me being they are a few years apart
@@masonchase085 no not at the moment I'm trying to get my hands on the euro accord tranny it came in a 6 speed with a LSD from the factory. Why do you ask ?
can you please do a video on putting a k series in a non Honda car? Im not saying get it completely done and driving and wired etc, that part is easy. Just show how to set the engine in like this and how to set it at the correct angles and drive axle alignment just as if you were gonna make mounts for it. And what to look out for. Would be pretty Amazing. Some people may want to engine swap their old beater cars and they can get the engines cheap, but may not already got a Honda etc.
Can we get a redo of the efk2/4/5 rear dog bone mount &/or bracket? bushings do not last and already upgraded the bracket design to latest version. or at least upgraded urethane for it (don't want solid, it's a street car)? There's gotta be a better way to make 'em last
Hey Boss. Help me out! I gotta 87 accord 1.6 L and wanted to keep it alive by kswapping a k24a2 from a 06/07 TSX into it. Is there any mounts for this Frankenstein? And what useful information can you give me on this. I'm a complete novice and just got into this kinda fetish lol😂
I just picked up a 91 coupe lx and I actually have a 2008 Honda accord five speed sedan with a shot frame. Paid 4300 for both altogether. Can I just use these mounts here and rip everything out and put in the cb?
I planning to do K swap on my year 1989 ACCORD CA5...But I m not sure if it is doable... anybody here ever do it before? Would like to learn more about it... Sorry for my broken English...since it is not my mother tongue 😆
