In the second video of the series on Field-Weakening Control (FWC) for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), we focus on designing and simulating control algorithm for PMSM. We will see how to use Motor Control Blockset™ reference examples as a starting point for implementing FWC algorithm for PMSMs. We will learn how to use desktop simulation to test and verify the algorithm. You can then reuse the same models to generate and deploy embedded code.

I have simulated on my pc. But i am getting negative rpm. Anyone can suggest?

she talks about speed control in this video but for electric vehicles the accelerator pedal determines torque and not speed. Is there a torque control algorithm that can be used instead?

This is both torque and speed control. When we accelerate, we want more speed, and currents decide torque. but reference currents came from the speed control loop. if speed is tracked, it means torque requirements are fulfilled. if in any case torque requirements are not fulfilled, then motor speed will not be followed.

i have a probleme in my MATLAB, the stateflow block doesn't work and i recieve this massage : " The current directory 'c:\program files\matlab 2013a\bin' is reserved for MATLAB files. Please change your current directory to a writeable directory outside of the MATLAB installation area. "
