Bro! You don’t even know how much of a difference this one video made on a poster project I’m working on. Literally took my design from boring crap to an interesting, dynamic piece of art! 🙌 thank you!
Oh it's all "Powered by weblow!" ...just noticed for the first time. For me no deal breaker. but now I see where the whole affection for webflow is coming from, maybe!
very cool! thank you for sharing. this is super helpful even for experienced designers. Id love to hear your take on working with grids and how to build them.
Thanks a lot. I'm new in the field of graphic designing and I could not understand why my designs look unprofessional even though I try my best. Thanks for sharing this core concept. I'm sure I'll be able to improve my skills keeping this simple concept in mind.
Very nice example you used. Basiclly if we just studied the fundamentals of the principles of design and applied them we will always great awesome layouts.
When I saw the title of this video, I thinking "volume contrast !"Turns out I was right, I'm now confident and ready to tackle my day haha thanks Ran, great advices
What I think you're referring to is basically the Golden Ratio, but in simpler words. Adding contrast between elements by adjusting their size, but also keeping a decent flow. Great tip!
Hey! Thanks for this video. I had a question. Where do you go to draw inspiration from. For example the website you mentioned you refer to for posters.
In this video you will find such pro tips as: "There needs to be a big thing, medium thing and small thing, and there can be multiple of these things."
But then again art design is SUBJECTIVE, a graphic designer's proposals may look good, however if their editors have a different vision, they will mostly likely disapprove with your work and will have to start all over again. Even a cover design for magazine can be a grueling thing for designers who are staffs.
