You can really see how much effort is put in from the editing, the actual practical advice, & imagine the time put into choosing the music, adding effects, & gathering all these gameplay & practice mode item conparisons clips. Dont forget writing the script too🔥
Tip for those who're abt to get ganked: Try to hide in the bush and if the 'eye' appeared late after you hid in the bush, that means someone is watching you entering the bush which is a huge advantage to retreat quickly
Its baffling this channel hasnt gotten higher subs even after posting for so much, i can clearly see the time and dedication you put into your videos and u should be more recognized for it, and as an exp lane fanatic I approve of this guide :3👍
@@Zerhirali was rather surprised to see u recommend 1st+3rd on yz lol most of the aggressive yz players i know prefer taking 2nd skill first and doing the full stack 2nd+3rd combo for extra long dive+ escape while triggering passive
@@s0mthinisf1shy68 haha I used to upgrade 2nd first, but felt like I wasn’t dealing as much damage. I went back to 1st skill for faster wave clearing and getting 3rd skill immediately
This is honestly excellent advice that might seemed simple but actually need more play time to get used to especially with the different variable (enemy heroes picks and their skills etc.) but once you get the hang of it and also learn other “Macro” pro players do, you’ll be set for life
Some situations where boots first item can be more useful than dagger or def, is when you're cutting lane or want to dodge Terizla's 2nd by standing on him. I never thought of buying defense first, big brain
@@Zerhiralexample is Grock, his s1 makes him cc immune which includes slows so you're able to escape anything more reliably if you get the boots first. His early dmg is enough for clearing and his passive is also enough till he starts gaining phys def from atk items. Also, Grock might be viable because he has his hybrid def per level buffed like the rest of the tanks, so his dmg build got a significant buff. They might nerf him because so far i bully anyone with Grock.
There's someone on Reddit recommending this channel as an underrated one and don't get attention as it deserves. I upvoted his comment and explained why this channel has some gap in-between one video and the next one. Glad my bro being recognised. Some mistake this channel as a tank main RU-vidr. Actually, the truth is this channel focus mainly on game sense, not on one particular role or hero. 😊
1:16 this is undoubtedly accurate. As an exp laner or roamer I am constantly on edge thinking about how I can counter the enemy fighter/tank. Some fighters don't have a specific counter too, heroes like Xborg has such a well rounded kit, the best counter is to actually play aggressively to keep his armor down at all times
this is good. as a certified exp laner this is a really good tip my main gripe about using yz is he is only strong early now, late game he cant do shit.
Well, as a masha main, 6.8k mmr, I always buy boots as first item. Masha is weak early so what I do is: 1. buy boots as first item 2. clear 2 waves 3. Buy rapid boots (+50 movement speed) 4. Go back to base to heal and return to your lane quickly using rapid boots. This way, you can save your passive which means you will have 4-5 hp bars in total. Masha is very weak early game so rather than buying dagger or defense item(masha cant use it anyway), buy boots and rapid boots first so you can go to your base and return quickly using the boots, rather than using your passive to heal. That passive is very good for hit and run. What i usually do is: 1. Fight until u have almost 1 hp bar left. 2. Retreat, heal 1 hp bar and ambush the enemy again. In the enemy's perspective, they have been fighting masha and finally kind of won the battle. They have low hp, but masha has lower hp. Suddenly masha attacks them again with hp filled. You fight again and once again masha retreats. You decide to recall since your hp is very low now in your tower. And again masha appears again with hp filled, tower dives and kills you. So, as you can see, since passive is really important for masha, I rather have boots as soon as possible so I can retreat to heal and save my hp bar instead of using it for healing so you don't have to retreat to base. I am not saying buying boots is goodnor better than daggers/defense items. Its only good if you know what you are doing. I have my reason to buy boots first, since it fits my hero and my play style. It turned out to be a long comment.. well anyway, nice vid!
As a player that's new to mlbb, but not to moba, I can say that the advice is mostly solid. My only point of disapproval is having to actually play every other champion, in order to get better at your own. I agree that knowing enemy abilities and cooldowns is important, but imo reading about them is more than enough, because buying heroes in mlbb is, AFAIK, quite the onerous task. From my moba experience I have learnt to mostly denounce "meta-slavery" in favor of playing a few champions at high proficiency, but I'm too new to thr MLBB environment to argue.
I agree that having to grind battle points takes such a long time, but knowing their combos is important as well. In my opinion, I think it’s easier to memorize other hero skills and imagine outcomes when you have “felt” them yourself. I suppose the only solution for new players is that it takes time, and everyone has their own pace. In terms of meta, whenever Moonton buff heroes, they become a lot more broken, so it’s always better to adapt to the meta if you can. The gap between meta and nonmeta feels too unfair
Back in the day before I had complete heroes, I used to go to brawl mode to learn them, As reading the description isn't enough to actually understand the combo potential and whatnot from every heroes thrown at me.
The fact that exp role is one of the important role in a match it was really an advantage to get this knowledge to get higher chance of winning, thank you🔥
Im an exp laner myself. I must say this is a Great video. You covered almost all points. Another thing I want to mention is that you should always think that your enemy is going to play the right way, that way you wont make underestimate him. And talking about the meta heroes, I think Lapu and Arlott are also insanely strong.
7:51 This once happened to me when my enemy team is winning with all my turrets almost demolished. Because the enemy shifted on taking the mid lane to go for my base tower with my ally protecting it, they totally ignored the EXP lane I was on and easily take the enemy base tower myself without them noticing a single bit. I became the MVP of that round.
Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and everyone's opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.
When your mid tries to gank gold and they'll miss their waves, don't let those minions go to waste. Clear your lane fast (or cut, if possible), then clear mid, then either help team or go back
Really good video I am an exp laner and i have used every tip mentioned in the video except the dagger one that's new to me Most youtubers say the same thing but this guide is actually well made with helpful tips about what you actually need to do as an exp laner and it's not all about the 1v1s I've seen some people say team sht while they don't even rotate to help in turtle in their own damn lane lol
This guy is a legend. After i watched this vid, i immediately opened the game and everything went smooth as i did what he said. Managed to end the game within 16min with a kda pf 2/0/7. And not only does he spit facts but the video itself shows effort, good luck man in gonna keep watch you
Very well thought out. It's inline with my experiences and how I deal being exp laner. Things I didn't see in this video is counter itemization, and proper emblem set ups which should be based on each playstyle, either burst, sustain, or durability that would also generally affect the outcome of the match. Still well thought video.
Actually bened is situational hero who needed tank or core tank (if playing solo there's rarely people want play tank). On the latest patch that nerf all defense item make bened more glass canon. Also bened is actually very tricky to use.
Pretty good point. I'm a exp laner for like 10 seasons now and I'm not really a meta player myself but i have a good eye for underated heros which many had became meta. I would add a few more advice, like constantly check the map to see if the enemy is missing so you won't get ganked and small little advice like buying boots but selling them at 14 second to not lose any gold, this might not matter much but it definitely helps I don't really agree with barats going to exp lane and right now, the hero im keeping an eye on for underated heros is gloo
Barats main problem, is that he needs stacks to really soak up and deal damage. Now this isnt rilly a problem if hes the jungler, as he can just kill the nearest jg creep or buff to gain stacks, but on the exp, he needs to fight the enemy to gain stacks. And without stacks, hes not really that big of a threat. But in the late game, hes not that bad as the exp.
@@IsolovemylifefullI see where you’re coming from. Thinking back when I was playing Barats, it was indeed hard maintaining my stacks, and joining teamfights at the right time.
As a high ranked experienced jungler and exp laner, these tips are useful to win most of the games.. more tips are missing such as: priority target in objective time, itemization, backline focus and many more
Really great tips. I can say I learned from this video, especially since I multi-role during solo queueing. One tip I'd like to add during the drafting phase: if your team lacks setting capabilities or crowd-control skills, I suggest choosing a fighter that can set for the team. This usually happens when the roamer is a support, like Diggie or Floryn. Overall, good content! Please keep it up.
Your videos are simple, straight to the point and short while still having the perfect amount of tips! I might just watch your videos only because the others are too long and complicated so yeah! New subscriber!
One thing about the first item is I always buy the boots first and then sell it on the 13th seconds to buy the dagger, it allows me to reach the bush faster than the enemies for ambush. Also, I find it hilarious that you said to prioritize picking the meta over comfort heroes then proceeds to shoe the meta which are my comfort heroes.
I think every team should have a habit of letting the exp laners pick their hero later during draft, from my experience especially in high rank matches the exp heroes dictates how easy the teamfights will be and if the exp laner is countered in his lane he probably won't be much effective in teamfights. Having another hero other than the roamer who can initiate, soak damage, apply cc or disrupting the enemy's formation by diving in the backline can really make a difference.
My tip as a role filler when filling exp: tell yourself if you can 1v1 the opposing exp laner easily and if you die once as exp in early game then don’t commit and wait for mage/roamer to rotate to you
God damn I have never learnt so much from a single tutorial video . U addressed every single mistake that I was making . Thank u very much. SUBSCRIBED!
why i dont agree in going out ur comfort zone u do need to know each hero weakness but what this guy said about useing meta u dont really have to if u gain the experience against all exp laners naturaly will make u a way better player counters don't really matter especially in mythic its how u use the character the yu zhong demonstration was useless cuz his true dmg carrys him he can win againts any exp laner in the beginning if someone ganks u need the speed and map awareness to get out that situation its been a universal rule since the beggining to use boots but xp laners can slide with useing blade since u need every dmg advantage this video is good for teaching beginners this guy is in some mythic rank possibly mythic glory or honer if he is lower my respect to u for teaching me one thing that was new to me i never thought of holding the last minion thank u that little piece of information will get me back to mythic honor quicker so i can finally reach glory
I’m glad you learned from this video. In terms of learning other heroes’ weaknesses I was considering what you said as well. But the thing is, you’ll never figure out the specific cooldowns of each heroes’ skills from playing against them all, because they of course never use the skill the moment it’s no longer on cooldown etc. If you play them yourself, you can see the countdown and be able to remember around the time they’ll get their skills back, which is easier to memorize. You don’t need +20 movement speed from boots to get out of a situation if you rely on map awareness alone, and know when to go back. Of course you can go for boots if you decide to cut the first minion wave, but at the same time I’m pretty sure you can make it without the boots as well.
Good info learned something new I freeze differently I leave the big minion at half then rotate to mid and then come back the minions usually are now two waves when I come back pushing by themselves
1:37 Tips : buy boots in the beginning of the game and sell it at 0:14 (ingame time) then buy dagger / defense. Because if you sell your item before 0:15 (ingame time) you will receive the same amount of gold. So with that trick you can get 20+ movement speed for like 10 seconds, and go to your lane faster to ambush the enemy in the bush, or maybe cut the minion and go rotate to mid faster
I agree with buying cloaks and jerkins or daggers, but we still have 15 seconds to sell at full price so, it is better to buy boots at the start and rush to position, and at 14 seconds sell the boost to get one of the above. For those with slow hands or potato phones,I suggest selling the boot at 13 seconds.
Boy oh boy. This is one of the best guides ever!!! Gonna share it with my squad. BTW, can I know what's your Yuzhong build, please? Mine seems weak AF.
I build depending on the game, but normally I go for Hunter’s Strike as 2nd item and War Axe as 3rd or 4th item. The rest are just defense items according to the game, except the 6th item which is either Malefic Roar or Immortality
additional tip as an exp laner that often got freeze lane by the enemy exp laner.. try rotating to mid lane when your midlaner is helping other lane so that the mid minion does not go to waste.. it catches the enemy exp laner off guard forcing the enemy exp laner to clear the lane and rotate to mid to prevent their mid turret being destroyed.. with that it is possible to be in the same level as your enemy exp laner or better yet maybe out level them :)
I never seen anyone recommend this so I recommend gatotkaca as exp. His only weakness is early game and healing reduction. His playstyle is like a much easier ruby where you heal all the damage using your passive and basic attack meanwhile control enemy. He is a late game character so farm first. A lot of gatotkaca's sustain comes from his passive and basic atk so do remember to try basic atk when the gauge under your health turn red, a lot of gatotkaca I met didn't focus on basic atk at all so do remember. My build focus on healing and 1v1 so try to be more aggressive when fighting weaker opponent. He is very weak early game so avoid other fighters and only try to drag them down with you if you got gank and is not safe even within tower. My build for him is cc boots or atk spd boots depends on enemy, clock of destiny which is perfect for him as you can get hp and magic dmg, concentrated energy for more magic dmg and spell vamp which boost his passive, oracle for healing, dominance ice for reduce healing and reduce atk spd, twilight armor for extra health and prevents burst. You can swap the order of item to suit the situation and the last item can be blade armor or radiant armor if the dmg is too high. Emblem is tank or fighter/support if you are confindent, then vitality for max hp, festival of blood for spell vamp, and brave smite for healing when skill dmg.
There's a little advantage on picking your favourite heroes, you might ask why I say so. Well there's really only two answers. The first is; because it is your favourite hero, your familiarity with using it is high unlike the other heroes, but still, increase the hero pool. The second is; since your familiarity with the hero is great, there's also a good chance that you can dominate the enemy even though the enemy is using a hero that is part of the meta. Your favourite heroes doesn't really constrict your lane advantage, but when gaining lane advantages, it all relies on your ability to analyze statistically and how to use your hero at full potential. Examples of heroes that when used at full potential can easily carry the game are: Freya, Yu Zhong, Argus, Alucard, Harith, Natan, Wanwan, Gusion and etc. I have been a Freya main for a while now that still to this day, keeps encountering good users that utilize a hero that's a part of the meta, that somehow still loses to Freya because they missed a few things like positioning and farming first before attacking the enemy. I could also say I'm a Alpha main for Exp Lane, but I don't do that often now. A few extra tips: --> When the enemy doesn't know your location, wait for them to try clearing the minion wave and start to harass them whenever they get close. This strategy is best for heroes that can constrict movements for a few moments or seconds and deal a good amount of damage like Terizla, Freya, Yu Zhong, Badang, Chou, and more. --> Whenever the enemy is turret hugging, don't be rash and freeze the lane close to your turret so their farm gets disrupted due to their strategy. This strategy is best for heroes that can easily ambush or deal high damage like Dyrroth, Zilong, Badang, Chou, Masha, and more. --> Whenever the enemy has able to take advantage of the lane and starts to harass you to prevent you from getting any kind of farm or loot form the minions, use your turret as an advantage and lead them or provoke them to get them closer or inside the turret and attack you, then you'll constrict their movement with CC or stun skills. This strategy is best for heroes that has a good amount of CC like Badang, Chou and Zilong, and more that's similar. (I hope this little information helps some of you.)
great vid, my simplest tips when trying exp lane is be careful of gank at lvl 3. see map for more info before going full aggro on enemy exp at this lvl
Regarding 1:38 you can buy the boots and sell them at the 15th second and buy a different item (you get all the gold from it if you sell it before the 15th second) Overall great guide
Glad I know most of these tips. Its just I dont like the fact that I need to get out from my comfort zone by just playing my main. :-(. Well, That is better than the feeling of being at disadvantage.
as a roam player, the last tip is actually the best tip, u should always focus and be serious and stop blaming the roamers just bcuz u throw too much and lose
Man, I'm shocked. These guides are amazing. Such a cool presentation and editing. I still don't understand why you don't advertise anything. As far as I know, monetization doesn’t bring much, since they don’t seem to pay even a dollar for 1000 views on this topic. You just want to help gamers, but why so generously?
Great video. No character favoritism, etc. I think a hero with a lot of potential in terms of xp is Dyrroth, as he is extremely destructive in the early game, controlling a lot early. And it's easy to Adapt your build. This video will help me improve my gameplay in xp lane. Thank you very much.
