Can you do a video on how to trouble shoot plant deficiencies with ADA fertilizer? I know you have a video on how to use fertilizer but it would be nice to know what to do when we see our plants struggling to thrive. Which fertilizer to use during specific issues.
Official WASABI Moderator: We actually did a 4 part series on ADA fertilizers and cover nutrient deficiencies. Check out the video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8pnKLOJkh6s.html. Thank you for watching, Moises! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Awesome! One question: do you think liquid carbon products such as Seachem's Excel can also reduce algae? What do you think of dosing such products as a way of preventing algae blooms? Thanks for the support.
Yes, Seachem's Excel can help reduce algae, but it does not prevent algae from forming. Please check your water and aquarium thru regular maintenance. - Official WASABI Aquarium Channel Moderator
@@joyalgeorge Official WASABI Moderator: They should go well just fine together. A general unwritten rule is that any fish that has a mouth larger than the shrimp then it's a 'no'. We hope this helps you. ε(*´・∀・)з
Official WASABI Moderator: Unfortunately, algae is just part of nature. We will have algae no matter what, and don't believe the few on the internet saying 'I have zero algae', as that's unrealistic. It's all about controlling the algae so it doesn't overtake your tank. There are 101 reasons why algae grows, so we'll leave that to the scientists ε(*´・∀・)з Thanks for watching!
@@NORIaquaCh Yeah algae is a naturally growing but what makes it to blooming & how we can control this action of blooming that's more important.... well different types of algae( e.g. black or brown colour algae) in an aquarium has good & bad impact...Is it true that unbalanced aquarium causes algae bloom? please share the information if it is possible. Thanks for your reply! I like to watch your videos from Japan🙏🙇♂️ Sayonara!
@@jackrayaa1595 Official WASABI Moderator: Go jack! You are 100% correct, majority of algae blooms are caused by an imbalance in the aquarium and filtration. Remember to like and share our channel with friends and family, it will help us make more videos to share knowledge ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Why are yoo not telling the peoples that your replaced Riccia Fluitans. and most probably other plants too. I would be great tp show peoples how can you really restore the plants after algae treeatment.
Official WASABI Moderator: Agreed. The easiest way (and if you have a lot of money) is to replace all the plants. However, this does not solve the problem as algae will just come back later. You must fix the root cause causing the algae blooms. We hope this video helps you recover your plants from an algae outbreak. Thank you for watching!
Wait? First you say “don’t do water changes.” Then you say “do 50% water change at least twice per week.” You lost me. This is probably the most confusing subject in the planted aquarium hobby. For every expert that says changing water as often as possible is beneficial there is another that says you should only change water as needed.
