I know this is kind of late and you have probably already figured out how much you need and how to make this but. 1 meter is 40 inches or one yard and 4 inches so for 2 meters you would need two yards and 8 inches. Don't know f that helps any and I know its late and that you most likely figured this out already but it might help the next person as well. ^-^
