Been growing my hair for almost a year and JUST learned to properly detangle my hair from your videos. I can only imagine how much longer my hair would be if I wasn’t causing all that unnecessary breakage early on 🤦🏾♂️
This was such an excellent “how to video” I love your clear concise step-by-step presentation. This has been very informative, and helpful. I am new to this and me and my boyfriend are starting these hair routine journey together. Thank you so much. Excellent video 😊
I'd always part my hair but never thought about tieing up each part this just saved me so much more time not spending combining my hair out, i appreciate this video bruh 🤝🏾💪🏾💯
I hate this process, this is why I like getting my hair braided, cause I let shorty deal with it😅. However, she doesn't want to do my hair very often, so I might need that comb you've shown😞. Thanks for the tips, brotha👍🏿
Shoutout King. I've gone on quite the hair journey recently. I always wanted to grow my hair long, but never knew how to love and take pride in my hair. Many blessing to you. Your fam and the brand.
Yo thanks! Im from utah…our people aint here so I haven’t had anyone to teach me anything about the fro game. I am literally the only afro here. Have had one since birth, had to quit many jobs because of it and raci. I can finally get my hair done now and get jobs. So this knowledge is clutch! I know alot about afros, i keep mine like the jackson five! Microphone status! Super round. Thank you!
I definitely needed this had my hair in braids for a minute now definitely passed "OG status" and I'm kinda embarrassed that I ain't even know how to do this properly
Can you do a video on pros and cons on straightening your hair! I’ve been growing mine out for almost a year and I’m debating on if I should straighten it or keep it growing with the Afro
Bril I am so proud of you bro! You have come a long way. Definitely took notes from the goat 🐐 and I became a 🐐 with my hair journey and we rocking same the type of cornrows although these shits are tight 🤣😂
Yo Bril ive seen many of your videos and they have been truly helpful. When it comes to detangling theres where the problem starts. My hair is low porosity and very dry and its basically just broken ive started to deep condition my hair to fix my hair. Everytime i brush my hair i lose huge amount of hair even if i start with finger detangling and then brush i will still lose bunch of hair. Basically i cant brush without losing bunch of hair even tho i do as you say🥲. Ive come to conclusion that i wont brush my hair anymore at all because of the hairloss. Ive had this hair for 8years and it is still almost the same length. I want to know if this is a good decision or not and i want to hear your suggestions on this.
first a solid trim will eliminate that weak ends. then make sure you aree using the detnalging brush and not anything else. then last make sure you starting at the end of your hair and thenworkignyour way to roots patiently. lastly understadn that there will a small bit of hair loss. and lastly again lol try protective stlyig sometimes like twists or braids every so often
I condition my hair and detangle in shower. Afterwards I apply curl cream and eco styling gel. Hair looks great for 2 mins then it shrinks. Curls are there but my hair becomes way short. How do I fix this?
Great content king bril, keep it up and also next video you make can you make it about the flaxseed deep conditioning cap and how to use it, I feel like if you made a video about it, what it does and how to use it more people would buy it including me please
I was dating a girl who specialized in hair care. I let her do everything. Now we broke up, and I’m here, lost , confused with a full head of very long 2b hair. ☹️ tempted to cut it bc it’s so annoying to take care of. But it’s like, I spent so long growing it, and now that I’m able to finally braid it, I’m running into all these hair loss problems
After your done detangling your hair do you put the hair back up in the hair tie or do a quick little two strand twist to prevent it from tangling again?
@@KingBril bc sometimes I’ll detangle a section of my hair then leave it to go do another section then it get detangled again thats why I was asking if it’s fine to put it a temporary two strand twist or put it up in a hair tie.
Question, I'm new to the braid life. Is there a reason your braids are skinny instead of thick? Is that a preferred style or is there a benefit to having skinnier braids when growing hair? You got Hella hair so I thought more hair=thicker braids. Meaning like 4 to 6 thick braids in total on the head. I have skinny braids like yours now also. I was just curious if there was any benefit or is it just something you prefer personally.
I cut my hair because I had way too much fairy knots, I feel detangling once per week is not enough (for me) when I go to sleep (with bonnet and silk pillow case) , the morning after, my hair are all pressed together so I wait all week before picking/detangling the damage(knots) is already done. When I used to pick once everyday, I never had fairy knots, so do I still continue to detangle once every week?
Detangle once a week. You also have to check how well you are detangling. You might not be doing it well enough. Plus, when you sleep, tie your hair up in sections and then put a bonnet on.
@@jediahlaplanche4334 before I cut my hair they were long but not at my nose so doing sections wasn't possible. anyways imma try this time picking my hair a few days a week because when I use to never care about my hair I never got fairy knots and when I start caring, they got longer but my hair are really really curly so I feel letting them stay curled up together for a week create the fairy knots. thanks for the answer
fairy knots will happen regardless but the key is minimize them. Your hair is alwasy stronger when strnd are held togther, like curls or twist or braids.
I love your hair its so shiny and hella moisturized, i can tell by the colour of yur hair which is really dark. I never used to deep condition, hence why my hair always looked dry. Like my hair would be a colour of dirt. Literally. I started deep conditioning but my hair still got that dryness colour to it? im gonna keep exploring differnt deep conditioners and see which works but you got any other tip on deep conditioning your hair? it would be really helpful
its the styling that helps keep the moisturized look, I schedule my deep conditioning around when i get my hair braided. so im literally get my hair deep conditioned then get it braided
I'm new I have been with my husband for a long time but we had a lice scare and I went through his hair. It was looking fire after I put product in it and going through it with a comb and a horse like brush (his go to I don't like it I feel like it frizzes) but he doesn't brush it often so how often should I sit him down to detangle and brush it through?
Yo my man. First of all, thanks for this video about detangling. My hair is a mix of afro , curly, wavy, frizzy. And during winter, it is a mess :(. Oh by the way, i would like to know if some of richroyals products are sulfate free. Take care bro ;)
Your body and hair are different using body wash for the hair isn't healthy for it due to the hair needing things that body wash don't offer and harmful to hair and yet at the same time good for the body.
@@KingBril I've been growing it since 2019.... I was trying to teach my kid if you take care of it then the hair would be growing. So it took me a minute to get it going and I haven't looked back
We need some HELP… our adopted grandson has deep emotional problems and will not take care of his hair. We need emergency help. We don’t expect quick. Is there a treatment we can ask for to get started…as do we expect to have to cut his hair…is there a soak he can get done at the hair care place?thanks for your kindness….
