So few of us have tuned 2020+ trucks and most are stock turbo. Thanks for the info, I'm looking at an aftermarket turbo,injectors and possibly cam. Trying to make the big boy power lever. I've had the injector pigtail issues twice now and driver side sucks passenger side is easy.
My 2017 new stealth l5p keeps pulling code for actuator as well. It's got alot of mods to exhaust. I can clear the code and then comes back up. It had brand new actuator they wouldn't even work.
I know this is an older video, but what are the codes that come up when this happens? I have P0046 U18A2 U0076 and I’m not sure if it’s an actuator or a can bus issue
Have you thought about switching to a Wehrli S467 set up or similar and ditching the actuator all together? I think you rode in one with a 472- what were your thoughts on it? I love Matt’s set up and under hood looks spot on.
What constitutes "higher mileage"? My stock 2018 with 88k is getting codes: P0046 Turbo Boost Control Solenoid U010C Lost Communication with Turbo Dash message of "174 miles to speed limited to 65mph" but then it goes right into limp mode less than 5 miles later. Local shop didn't get it to appear after I cleared codes but guess that it's VGT actuator and they say it's possible the DPF pump and heater are bad too.
