As a junior orthopaedic surgeon, I myself had the same problem after an ankle twist and fall. My unit head professor sir did a below knee fiberglass cast with the tendon in reduced position and I had to give the PG final theory exams right after that. Had to use a walker to move around. More than a year now, it is now painless with occasional ankle pain on prolonged standing during procedures, during which I have to use soft ortho slippers in OT and at home. Eversion is still restricted compared to opposite side, but it's not painful anymore at least. Waiting for your video on how to operate.
Sir I'm having similar issue which occurred while playing soccer 5 months ago . But my doctor suggested me to wear an ankle band for 6 week's and i have done the same. After that the pain was almost cured but now after almost 5 months pain is again coming. I'm using a formal heel shoe as part of my job.The pain is mostly at the time of my work hours. It is difficult to stand and walk for a while... What can i do sir... Is it necessary to take the surgery
