If you stick your hand in the air stream of the dryer and it's not burning your hand, then the temperature is fine. If it's too hot or burning, lower the temperature a bit, if you can. If it doesn't burn, it's ideal for the hair and doesn't harm it at all. I have between tailbone and classic (bum) length hair and diffuse weekly. I towel dry for 30-45 min. in a microfiber towel, then I air dry for 2 to 4H and then I diffuse for about 5 min. tops. By then the roots are dry and the ends are a little damp, but it'll do. 5 min. of drying time is not much! Hardly hurts. I don't have split ends or white dots in my hair, as I moisturize it with products really well each week.

I have to work hard at keeping my hair long it's not as long as your hair but it is past my shoulder blade almost to the center of my back. Keep doing what you do you do it well!😊

When defusing my hair i use the cool setting on high. I heard the shock of cold hair helps to keep the curls from frizzing up as much, and i did noticed that my curls had more shape and were less frizzy. Of course that will take longer

Hey Gio have you thought of using heat protectant on your hair before drying it? It definitely helps me protect my curls when I blow dry it fully straight. Using a diffuser especially on low heat would not damage your hair but if you want added protection then definitely try a heat protectant spray. I use to diffuse my hair all the time when it was long and curly. Now I'm in the process of growing it all back out again.

we literally had the same conversation to ourselves about the Devacurl hair dryer! My mom last month was bothering me to get a diffuser since it's getting colder and she didn't want me to get sick so I got that same hairdryer at Walmart and it works beautifully! Still want that Devacurl one though eventually but until then, Revlon it is 😂

Hey Gio.... I think you should try a product called love ur curls. It's mostly aimed for girls but I think your hair would benefit from it as well. I commented on their channel to send you some for a review to get a male's perspective... Could eventually open their market for male products.... But research it and see... Try diffusing on cold!!I actually diffuse with my finger on the cold shot button, and the dryer set on cool.

I never thought about brushing my hair with it in front of my face! That my actually help give me more volume because my hair is long. And a diffusing tip would be, if you can, is dry your hair with a microfiber towel, or cotton tshirt, and then let it air dry for about an 1hr. After then diffuse it. I find that the diffusing process is shorter and you don’t have to have neck pain from bending over for like 30 min lol. It also helps with frizz-control!
