Noticed these at the beginning of the game, was almost certain they were a dig spot, never got a shovel and figured "Huh, guess it was nothing after all" 😂
damn I just got to the end of my second playthrough and didn't know this lmao. I just thought they were all bobbit worms and avoided them like the plague
@@guiltyreborn117 Honestly, they blend right in. Not the easiest to see, and then comprehend they're a "fishing" spot. I'm just glad someone's talking about the Xs!
Some of the dig/fishing spots have unique items one in the shallows gave a razor blade and another in the curdled village by the docks gave an earthworm witch is a stowaway that makes it easier to fish larger enemies with the hook
First time I ever saw one of those I thought there was digging in the game, never found anything that said it can dig and i found Bobbet worms so my mind went straight to thinking that those are just Bobbet worms that are too small yo do anything so they don't attack (more of just an environmental decor at that point)
I believe they're updating the visual for the dig sites to make them more distinguishable (and they patched it so they should be easier to fish up while standing, instead of having to jump)
Mannn, I'm only at the samurai guy in my playthrough, found a bunch of these, and just wanted a tutorial on how to do the minigame when digging them up, but I got a spoiler for what the big ones were before even finding one :(
Huh... as intuitive as the game's mechanics are this feels oddly esoteric. Glad I'm not the only one to complete 2-3 playthroughs and still not know how to dig stuff up 😅
dame i just finished my first playthrough and thought these where just bobbitworm markers they forgot to removed when they removed the enemy in testing
@@guiltyreborn117 HEY here some cool trick that I just discovered If you want to roll your shell at the full speed in the quickest way here's the small trick you [run] and [jump] and hold the [LB] to roll before you land on the ground and then make sure you find a spot where you speed up a little and that's that let me know if that helps or do something for fun 😉
