How to DISABLE daytime RUNNING LIGHTS on 2000 Chevrolet SILVERADO!!

2000 chevy s10 here , mine didn't beep,but it worked. My dome light was turning on and off every time I pressed it.

That's great 👍.... I figured it out reading owner's manual, if lucky enough to Still have?🤔 My thing is "u" said disable (daytime)running lights... NOT 🤔⁉️ IT only disables ALL lights....except DRLights,,if it's DAY LIGHT outside 😮

You can also inhibit them from turning on in the first place by applying the parking brake before turning the ignition over. When you turn the vehicle on, the lights will remain off until you reach down and release the brake, at which point they'll resume normal function without having to fiddle with that damned little button. I hate this truck. 😂

If you do this the interior lights also don't turn on. Best way to get rid of drls is to pull the fuse.
