Hi Bob. For mine, I take it apart once it’s time to replace the blade, give it a bath in alcohol for at least 5 minutes, clean off any residue with a q-tip, and reassemble it using the old blade. That way I can then use the injector to expel the old blade with the new one. Good advice about checking for blade alignment because I find the new blade is not always centred properly and has to be nudged a little into the proper alignment.

so, you got 3 of those parts? i've had this razor for several months and i always thought that little bolt thing was for adjusting the closeness of the shave. like the old adjustables. but i have the newer model

Firstly , I would like to thank you for this informational video , it is very helpful and easy to follow . My question is regarding the blades. Is it possible to use any brand of blades with the the supple single edge razor ?

Matthew..I have used Schick blades and the ones that came with the razor. I am sure that you could use any single edge razor blade because I believe that they are all the same size. Enjoy and see ya on the next shave.

Can you use regular safety razor blade (snapped in half) with this? I want to move to these razor for environmental reason, and the plastic injector isn't ideal. Also don't want a product that requires proprietary injectors, what if they run out of business 🤔🤔 thank you!

Dear sir I put the razor together slot the blade from the top make sure blade is flush, to ajust it losen screw then tighten its quicker.

Does the screw go all the way inside or it goes in partially without covering the spiral spring?

The screw goes in partially, exposing the spring.

Do you have to use the razors that they sell or can you split a DE razor blade in half like you can do with a shavette? I want to get one but I feel itll be a bit of a pain to have to keep buying blades from them as I'm a pretty forgetful person.

You cannot split a double edge razor blade but you can buy injector blades just about anywhere...they are not made by SUPPLY but I find them just as good. Any single edge injector blade will work.

I'm super annoyed with Supply Razor, I bought it waited for over two weeks to receive it only to not get the closest shave possible. I have very thick beard, now I have to wait another two weeks to get the proper head setting? Does this mean it's not adjustable? When reaching out to supply, they say they will get back to me within 24 hours... but the information about razor setting are no where to be found on their website. You briefly mention that you need a different head. So far this is very frustrating, I paid a lot to have a worse experience than what I get from my Gillete Pro-glide razor.

David. I had to buy the other two plates because the one that came with the razor was too aggressive. Before they were on Shark Tank they responded very quickly when emailing them for advice or information. Since the Sharks got ahold of them, perhaps they are behind in getting organized with their email responses. I would email them again and tell them if they don't respond within a certain time, they tell them you want a refund. Sorry, you had this problem. Keep me informed and if necessary, I will write to them myself on your behalf. It may or may not help. I did notice on a couple of occasions that the razor blade just fell out of the razor even though the screw was tight. I will be writing to them about this.

@@robinhoodshavingartisans2891 They responded my emails within a couple of hours. They pointed out that the heads were shipped, I thought they were bars of shaving soap, turns out it was the other head settings. So all in all, I'm still working on getting used to the new razor ¡

Take the plate off the razor again and replace it. If you do not replace the plate correctly it will not hold the razor securely. Try that and let me know what happens. Hope this helps

@@robinhoodshavingartisans2891 interesting, there's a big difference in placing the blade on the plate and on the handle (as in your video), even though, it looks the same when you screw it together. Got it in place this time, thanks for the video and the comment!
