Saved me heaps of pain, I have a lexus here with the same family of transmission . Someone’s already been inside and lost the spring from one of the detents and had the springs backwards in the accumulators . Thanks for a great video.
I really like the video a d I'm interested because I'm having a car with the same gearbox box but one thing I'm failing to get right is if I will start my car than I put in drive the car don't want to move that I move it to l gear it will move when its moving I can put on drive while its moving then its normal.

Thanks for Quick response appreciate. I have also Toyota Camry 2006 when I put gear lever on Drive position it's not going forward. But when I put on reverse gear it's working very fine. So what's the problem in this gear means inside forward clutch direct clutch yeah one way clutch. Can you please more explain me.have a nice day thanks
Hi Peter. I want to commend you for yet another good video. Please, my 2000 Toyota camry suddenly started misbehaving by not moving forward when the transmission gear is on Drive (D) but it reverses without any problem. What could be the problem and how can this be fixed?

Hi Peter I hope you can help me I got a 2002 Toyota Camry 2.4 when I drive the car it gets first gear but when it comes to the second gear it thumps hard. The first, third and fourth gear is smooth.can you help me?? Just the second gear.

Hallo Peter. I have one on my Toyota Previa/Estima 2002: Leaking olie from the converter or oile pump Gasket. I have replase both, but olie still leaking. Cen the olie pressure from the pump be the problem ? Regards
Wat can I look at if I want to repair it it did take the valve body out put new oil clean filter bt still the same rewind its fine low gear it's fine D And S3 it's not pulling bt if I press hard to the pad of fuel and the raff count to come at 2 then u wl see it want to move so help me Mr Peter.

What was the transmission doing ? I have one that feels like it goes into park in first gear and shifts real hard into second but after that it runs fine.
