In this video, I'm going to explain how to take the lid apart for the HydroJug traveler cup. #HydroJugTraveler #HydroJug #dissassemble lid www.mvelectron...
Girllllll you are the real MVP for this!!!! my beloved traveler just molded, I have a new lid coming but I needed a good solution to disassemble it so I don’t have the same thing happen with the new one. You’re the first person to make a video offering an actual resolution to the issue!!! thank you and your hubs!!
@@brookehieronimus9482 sorry just saw this! I contacted customer service, sent them a pic of the lid & my order number & they sent me a new one free of charge. Their customer service takes a day or two to reply but they are super nice & helpful!
@@ritz8918 they sent it to me free bc it molded very quickly after buying it. I emailed customer service & sent of a pic of the molded lid along with my order # and they got a replacement sent off to me ASAP
THANK YOU!!! I had tea in mine and had it lying on its side so now it’s brown in that area and it’s driving me nuts! Now I have a job for my hubby to do when he gets home 😂
OMG thank you for making this video 🙏 you don't know just how long I've been trying to properly clean my bottle lid. Ngl my water starts to taste a little salty actually 🤮 really disgusting. Your video help me a lot 😭🙏 thank you again i love you so much. i wish you a happy life
that's amazing to hear a lot of people where having trouble popping it off and unfortunately they where breaking maybe that way will help. thank you for that little info.
I had to return my jug the part that holds the straw, would not line up with the left or right handed sides at all I've re ordered one hopefully this one the lid works Thsnks gor that info on how to clean the straw, holder
Mine went in the trash after molding. After discovering the straw pops off I was able to clean it BUT the second time both the straw and lid cracked. The straw and lid will crack and break if not the first time then the next. I’m so disappointed with this jug and company. I even soaked the lid in hot bleach water but it still got moldy. I refuse to continually order new lids from a company who made a lid that molds and is almost impossible to keep clean. Hydro Jug needs to do better.
Muchas gracias! I just order mine yesterday and I was worried because I saw so many people on tiktok saying things like “hydrojug cups have mold in the straw part” :c
How did you get the straw off the first time? I have been trying and trying, but I can't get it out! I even tried boiling water, but couldn't get it to budge.
do you mean the straw from the bottom? or the top one?... if you are talking about the bottom one all you do is pull and should come off easily if you have the same cup..if talking about the top my husband helps with that one or I can make a video on how I have been able to pop it off myself.
@@p_loves_to_plan idk how you get it off. My husband has tried both lids and it won't budge. I now think they are made with something to keep them from popping off. If I could send you a picture I would. Any help would be great.
Thank you! I have had my Hydrojug tumbler for just 1 month, i finally managed to pop off the mouth part. Gosh, its gross what was under that tight part. With so short time its covered with brown gunk and mold..
I totally saw a piece of plastic fly off when the straw popped back in and now it makes me nervous lol. I’d like to know how long it holds up keeping the seal after doing this many times
I will let you know, but as of right now they have been holding up really well and they are washed often ... keeping in mind my husband always helps with the dismantle. @@heatherw7229
www.thehydrojug.com/products/traveler-lid You can purchase a replacement lid. But I agree...it's a pain to take apart and try to get back together. Just buy a new lid.
I’m not weak by no means but I cannot get the nozzle to pop off. I also don’t have a husband to get it off for me lmao. And after seeing comments about the plastic cracking, I’m not sure if I want to get the nozzle off atp.
For the top part to take it off because it started to turn white from stress then we got it to come of but I want to know if next time it might break or not??
im not sure mine also started after almost a year turn white but honestly if it brakes or gets extremely moldy at the end of either situation we would have to buy a new top and now they offer that. unfortunately instead of a solution to be able to clean it properly smh....more money ...
The one my wife has won't pop out and it cracked the clear pastic from just us trying to get the top part off. They need to come up with a better design, one that you can actually fully disassemble to properly clean it.
so sorry to hear that and I agree unfortunately when I was looking for a better way. this is what we came up with and has worked for us. I hope you can get it replaced, seems like it's a huge issue for a lot.
@@madismith73 I think you just have to be careful with your hand because it does hurt. It’s a very hard push hence why my husband did it in the first place but once you do it and it does not break it .it starts getting easier. Try at your own risk though.
so sorry so hear that I have another video that you can try with a 6 towel and I just went to there website and they actually just started selling the tops alone. I think they figured they can just sell the lid instead of fixing the clean situation. I hope you can figure out how to get it clean.
GUYS PLEASE DONT TRY THIS!!! It just ended up breaking my cup. Try literally anything else you can bc that will just break your lid like it did to mine :((
