Today we're showing you how to modulate mixed sources, HD-SDI and HDMI into a single Modulator and creating our own RF channels.
We're using an IRD-V3 to demodulate an ATSC off Air channel from the antenna, in this case, NBC, then modulating on channel 25.
Other sources via HDMI like Roku, Firestick, Blu Ray, and another SDI source Pattern Generator are being loaded into the modulator, which is then creating our own custom RF channels on QAM.
Common headends often have various sources like SDI, HDMI, CVBS, etc and we're able to gather those sources and create and nice rackmount solution to convert those signals to RF which then you can distribute over your own coaxial network to an unlimited amount of televisions.
