Be sure to check out my recent video on how to turn old, unused planners to make a War binder/prayer journal ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--C6KTzs7VYs.html
Very helpful video. I appreciate you showing how it's possible to do this without all the fancy parts. As you said, how getting it even would drive you nuts, I am the same way. It would have to be a straight edge. Made note pads as a child and had to stop because I am also horrible with scissors. Lol. You have a relaxed, natural style that made this fun to watch.
Aw thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I thought as I got older my scissor skills would improve, they in fact have not lol thanks for watching!
I got mine together earlier in the year because I knew the end of the year would be too busy for me to work on them. I'm trying out a new faith planner format to see if I like it. Hair new year! Thanks for watching
I LOVE how these turned out, Melissa! I have wanted to make add'l pages for my Happy Planner, & some stickers, too, so you have DEFINITELY encouraged and inspired me to just DO IT!! I think using the cutting mats for covers is a great idea, but also think that laminating them would work nicely! I suspect that using a regular multi-hole punch might work if it could be lined up properly, then all you'd have to do is go along the edge & snip the little 1/8" openings!! Thanks for sharing!! 💜💜💜
Melissa I just came across your channel today. Your planner style is very creative. I never would have thought to do it this way. Thanks to you I will now create one in this style and a sticker book. Also it was very relaxing to see you detail and use some of the same products I have that I haven't seen other RU-vidrs use. Enjoyed watching. New Subscriber
Thank you so much and I'm so glad that you found the video helpful or inspiring. I'll be doing a video tomorrow using old planners to make a War binder/journal. If that's something you're interested in. Thank you for joining!!
I so enjoyed this! I already have a mini Happy planner for myself, but would love to make another one for my business stuff. I haven't been able to find any Dollar Tree happy planner stuff at any of my local stores though. 😢
hi--how do you figure out where to put the calendar the first time before you made your marks to get the same spot? I thought you would have mentioned that when you were sliding in your paper
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure I know what you're asking, but I just transferred the pages exactly how they were so the calendar ended up where it was in the original planner. I hope that answers your question.
You should check out paloma from the bates house. She used to do planners, but I think dt had the bazic brand double sided tape in a larger thicker roll. I really enjoyed this alot. Would definitely try one but dont have a hp puncher, so I guess I would have to go the harder route.
I'll have to check her channel out. I'm always looking for more inspiration. It's not too hard. I find it relaxing. Thank you for watching. I'll try to think up some other ideas with more common items.
