Simply said this is a Swiss Army knife of jet skis. 👍👏. I think if I was going down the road of this awesome jet ski I would add a small very small but usable flotation life raft type deal just to tow behind you while fishing just to add maybe larger coolers fish storage fuel storage.
I pull a 10' Zodiac, about 900 lbs of capacity. Snug it up behind the ski using the 2 side D-Rings connected in a V to the tow hook on the ski. Often bring 3 - 5 gallon gas cans for extended range. You are not raising the center of gravity this way plus your carrying capacity is huge. Pull the inflatable along side the ski for on water fueling plus if you unload at a remote location the inflatable can be used as a fishing platform. Adds a lot of possibilities for very little money. You did a beautiful job building your ski. Borrow a small inflatable and give towing a try, you might like it!
Absolutely Fabulous. Awesome job. Im looking at a Sea Doo. But now looking at the Yamaha. I live on the beach and like fishing and snorkeling. So I may have to go check out Yamaha.
Great content. It gives me some ideas what to do on my own when I finally get a jet ski... bummer no one has deck out a seado fishing pro yet. I tryed one out and that thing seems so stable just standing on the edge of it.
So you guys don't have to pay for it but he is sharing a seriously functional and well thought out rig. I appreciate the video, the commitment here is obvious to all 👍👍👍 One more thought and I know this OP is an old post but it needs to be replied to especially today. My curent boat has twin 496 mags. It'll guzzle 60GPH at 50MPH ...I'm betting this PWC does better and as I can see is more capable in many respects.

I'm in the process of adding the second battery now and was curious where you sourced your front battery box, I did not see it in "description below".
Very nice work, it but too much for my needs but great ideas and build. I am still tweaking my build for use in my area (SW Gulf coast in Florida). Biggest disappointment or “con” for jet ski fishing is that it’s against the law to operate at night or to have lights mounted. Night fishing is usually way better than daytime in the bays and nearshore. It’s also cooler with no worries of sunburn…so keep that in mind if you live in Florida.
This is amazing. I’ve been in the keys since I was a kid and my grandfather lives in Port Antigua in Islamorada. I am at The Palms at MM 80. I’d love to come check the skis out. I’ve been in the market for a fishing jet ski but this is even better. Would love to meet up!
I don’t get all the negative comments. The man owns a boat. He apparently enjoys fishing from the ski and has been successful at it. You enjoy what you like and let him do the same.
Love your build. May I ask what you do for corrosion control other than flushing the engine and washing the ski after use? What sprays / greases do you recommend and what areas to focus on. Thanks.

yeah my dad had a Bayliner 19 foot water ski boat type. Lake Eire was the main spot ...we used to take my cuz’s 16 foot speedboat on Lake Eire to Kelly’s island which was negligent thinking back..I was the age I was in the pic ...all the crazy Macedonian boys like sardines with cases of brew and letting me drive the damn thing 😜 like what the hell dad! I love renting jet skis tho . a blast.

Is your bilge pump attached to the bottom or your ski or just lying in there? What do you think of an automatic bilge vs a switch operated type? Lastly, what brand/series is your pump?
If you fall off or end up in water how are you supposed to get back on? Do you climb over the cooler and all the cap in back weave yourself in between all the poles ?
I don't see a link to the rack your cooler sits in. Was that something custom made or a commercially available rack? It looks much beefier than some of the others I've seen on the market.
For off shore fishing which seat configuration do you prefer the cruiser or non cruiser, I'm short so length isn't an issue. My concern is that cruiser seating for more security while underway and regular seating is easier move back and forth when fishing, what do you recommend for off shore fishing in rough water for Mahi and tuna ? I have only fished on boats.
That is a sick machine, I was curious if that was a side scan transducer and if it is how does it perform being so close to the nozzle with all the air bubbles caused by the pump.

Great set up and my family love your vid's down under here in Australia. As a former merchant mariner I noticed that your navigation lights do not conform to standards due to them being obstructed. Not sure what the US law says however in Oz your would get fined for having your nav lights obstructed by not allowing the correct degree of vision to be seen by other vessels. The Yamaha Waverunner looks totally awesome and you have done a fantastic job.
Do you toe with your Honda Odyssey? Did you have to modify your odyssey in any way? I’m thinking of towing my ski with my 2016 Odyssey touring elite. Didn’t know how it can handle a couple of hours in tow.
I need that exact unit! Do you want to sell me yours and start on the next one? It wont take nearly as long as the first one and I will bring you fish if your somewhere near Boca. Just a little quiet dream. I will try to build my own after your example, just not sure about the electrical upgrades and the sump pump.
