This is how I made mine too. It’s nice because if you choose not to glue it, you can just take it down and store it in no space at all. And you can get similar clamp mounts for phones too, so that you can shoot from multiple angles.

My iPhone has a thick case and then I have one of those lil debit card holders on it as well. Do you think the clamp piece will open wide enough to hold it?

It is a photography background. I made it with some contact paper on a large poster. For iPhone attachment, there are a ton of choices that have the screw in type holder. Anything that would fit on a tripod would also work in conjunction with the adaptor mentioned in the video. Something like this: amzn.to/30osCrX
