Those are some great shots! I love the one of the milling machine, it just looks too cool! And it’s really neat to see these kinds of photos taken around small industrial operations, I used to certify scales and so I got to see the inside of dozens of small companies like this, every one of them has a story. It’s very different than the corporate world, really neat to see them in the spotlight.
Almost always completely handheld. I don't mind shooting higher ISO to get faster shutter speeds so I don't get hand shake in the images. I only use tripods for architecture and portraits, and even then not all the time.
I would love to know more about your post shoot image processing. Do you have a standardized approach to processing images in Lightroom or another editor like that or do you use a different a approach with different clients?
I definitely need to make a video about this. My process is very simple & straightforward. I use Lightroom for 98% of my processing. I only use Photoshop when a client photo needs heavier retouching (typically architecture, but sometimes portraiture). But I have a way of culling a shoot of a couple thousand images down to a couple hundred pretty quickly. Then I do basic color correction and exposure adjustments. Everything is shot in color, but some images I'll do in black & white. Are there any aspects you're particularly interested in? I can make sure to include those in a video.
