How to do a FREE dvd video bypass on Pioneer AVIC-Z150bh or AVH-X950BH 

Just used this Bypass on my AVIC-Z120BT worked like a charm thanks a million Lessco Electronics!!!!

Hmmm I don't think the wire through the harness clip was necessary, it's usually being grounded that allows to circumvent the PBS. The wire through the harness clip isn't making contact with anything...or is it?

I have a AVH-501EX pioneer and used a toggle switch and grounded it to the side of the radio. DO NOT FORGET YOU HAVE TO TOGGLE TWICE! Just as the E brake twice

I understood everything except why did you put the wire into the white connector empty space. Are you using chassis ground using pressure from connector for making this connection? Why not just directly connect the green wire to gnd?

Your pioneer and clarion units are the only ones that need a video bypass relay all,other ones can just tie your brake wire and ground together

Any radio with Double pin can be bypass with a 12V Relay. This worked with my AVH-3700BHS.

Is the green wire passed threw the white to simulate the switching of the ebrake from off to on?

put the green wire on black ground , and your done , much easier . just strip a bit of the black cable and tape or solder the green wire on it

What is a microbypass and what does it do? I've tried googling but most resources are showing how to install it/them but none explains to a complete dummy like me what a bypass is or does. Great video though. Wish I understood what this is all about

just ground the green wire and add a switch and turn it on and off and bak on so the ok symbol lights up I did it to my pioneer avhx5800

On my pionera 420 dab I connected the hand brake wire (green ) to one side of a capless bulb then to earth the other side of bulb I contacted to blue auxiliary wire 😮 worked mimicking handbrake on, 20 pence I used a small bulb tucking it in to dash don't waste £10 on a bypass

I've had 4 pioneer indash model back to the very first and one of the latest. light green wire tied into black for your ground and its done. never will have a problem again

Can't you just ground the park wire and it will work with the car in motion. I know you're not supposed to watch DVDs while driving but I let the kids watch the head rest screens.

I have a Scosche SU03B harness that has an orange wire and an orange and white wire. My Pioneer AVH-200EX factory harness has ONLY an orange and white wire. Do I need to connect the orange and white wire and leave the orange wire disconnected, or should I forget both of these wires? I know they are for illumination, but I'd like to know how to connect these orange and orange/white wires. Thanks for any help!

i have a pioneer avh-x4700bs i tried to do the bypass by just hooking up normally light green eith light green black with black and the blue with the blue it does not unlock my radio if i ground the green do i need to hook up the blue wire ???

I installed the bypass and also hooked up the gps antena to the radio, but when I am driving i cant use RU-vid or miracast, a screen shows up on the screen telling me that i cant watch videos while driving. You grounded it when you put it through the harness and plugged it in. Attaching the ground was redundant.

just ground the e brake wire no matter what color it is, it will be labeled all that other stuff is unnecessary, it will send a constant signal to the radio while it's turned on, problem solved
