After so many videos, YOUR tutorial for the granny square had me successfully completing my first one with variegated yarn. Never thought it would happen after trying for many years. (Embarrassed 😊) Now I need to work on perfecting it, make a bunch of squares and see what comes next. Yay!!!

What is funny to me is that when my mother, who is a left handed person, taught me the beginning of crochet when I was little. She taught me left handed, even though I am right handed and to this day, it is the only way that I can do it. Crochet is the only left handed thing I can do. I have wanted to be able to crochet a granny square since I was a child but being left handed nobody could teach me without us all getting frustrated in the process. She is saying treble/triple crochet, I always called them double crochets. Are you using British Stitch names?
