That haircut does not work for him. Too much dips in his head, causing the straight hair to make the hair style look patchy, so any type of fade or blending will look sloppy. You should recommend a different hairstyle for him next time.

Yes they're loud but I only use the SC Instincts for extremely thick hair cuz it has the most powerful clipper motor & takes down hair with ease. I use the Gamma+ X-Ergo or Stylecraft Saber clippers with a taper blade for all other textures. Whals can't touch those clippers. My Wahls are brand new collecting dust. Stylecraft/Gamma+ are the way to go. They're the best tools in the game. Best trimmers too.

@@saidzueke4782 my experience has been different. My SC/Gamma+ clippers never get hot for me. My Wahls do, plus thay bog down at times. I use to use Wahl & Andis brands for almost 20 years until I discovered SC/Gamma+. I do agree with you that their skinny cutting blade is not good. I swap it with a thicker deep tooth cutting blade that comes with their taper blade.

@@saidzueke4782 disagree.this is one of the reasons why I changed Wahl to Alfa. wahl magic clip blades heat up very quickly. if only replaced by ceramics.alpha black diamond carbon steel blade is much better
