You were right, 7 years back when i bought my amaze diesel, i did went for testdrive. However, the company person kept the audio player and he was continously explaining me with the features in the dashboard. I didnot had the knowledge to observe and feel the inside cabin noise from engine and the vibrations. Also, ac was not sufficient for the back passenger. MotoWagon could have been with us 8 years back itself 😁👍 Your videos are simple and superb.

That's true brother Honda diesel engines sounds high than others, they are very good at petrol only. If you want go for diesel go for Ford they are known for it.

Requirement - Yearly max 12000 km, long drive around 500 km once in 2 months, mostly city usage. I short listed Kushaq and Honda city, please suggest one

For city usage kushaq seems better but there is no diesel, since you drive more than 10000 km, go for city diesel or Verna diesel.

Very good explanation sir. What I suggest is, decide cars not only according to the usage, also check the NCAP ratings of the car to see if Build Quality and Safety is there. Nowadays people are cheated by features and budget, but not choosing cars which gives good safety. Uyir vida kaasu mukyam illa. Paathu car vangunga makkale 🙏

Yes. Once the BNVSAP norms are into effect and all Cars are tested in this and the ratings are announced, the issue can be solved

Definitely will help buyers not to overlook certain parameters like "feel good factor" or "music system" while test drive and miss important things to note like braking, engine noise etc...Very well narrated again and thanks to MW for coming with content that help the common man. Only problem I see as a buyer is dealer location to my usual drive location is very far which will make me to drive only in the area nearest to dealer shop. I guess that can also solved by discussing with relationship manager to make sure we are driving in different road condition that is available near to the dealer! Thanks MW!!!

There are some people from 80s and late 70s like to hear some engine rev inside cabin like me. You are right, the demo will be pushed with lot of features and music, than what you really feel and need. We should turn off all other distraction and just feel the way how it is, especially for entire family 👍🏻. Recently boughtt Nexon after watching your review on that.

Much helpful video. 👏🏼 I recently test drove these two models (both are petrol MT) - Ford Aspire, Honda Amaze. I felt a bit more noise in Aspire while comparing Amaze. Is that normal? I got some feedbacks that Ford is not a better option for petrol engine. Will there be any considerable difference (other than normal diff like milage, initial cost etc) in petrol and diesel engines in Ford?

Hui sir I have seen ur all videos all are very useful and genuine. I have plan to buy a hatchback. I need safety,good engine and milage. In my choice have 2 cars SWIFT dzire & I 20 I have some questions. 1. In dzire only thing I afraid about build equality. Which is very poor in all videos . other all spec is good. If I buy dzire the car could get be dented even a small impact? 2. How about the build quality of I20 compare with dzire. 3. Is Service cost and spare cost is higher jn I20 compare with dzire?

1. Yes, Dzire is based on the light weight HEARTECT platform and is low in build quality. 2. i20 and Dzire are similar build. Try the Amaze for better build

Very nice explanation sir. I did test drive below cars Aspire diesel EcoSport diesel I20 diesel Altroz diesel I liked Ford cars but didn't choose it due to couple of reasons. . Ford has removed/degraded aspire from previous version and hence getting a feel like outdated. . I didn't choose EcoSport due to mileage factor and also wanted a small car feel as it would be easy for my wife to drive in future. I20 - Doesn't feel like value for money and also not crash tested. Finally zeroed down to Altroz. . I liked the drive feel in Altroz. . Just one thing - Please let me know the rear seat comfort in Altroz for long drives or trips. . If it is good, then I will definitely go with Altroz. .

The main negatives of Altroz are the NA and Turbo Petrol engine. Other than these, Diesel engine, ALFA Platform, Suspension setup, Rear seats are great. You can go ahead

Hello Asir brother, I am stuck in choosing between Honda City ZX CVT and VW Vento TSI AT. Daily mileage is very less(less than 10km per day) but I am a frequent long drive person. Native travel once in 2 months 1000+kms (Chennai-Coimbatore-Chennai). 3 member family and occasionally traveling with parents. Your opinion will be of great value! Looking forward to it bro!

Go with the City CVT. i-VTEC with CVT is great in City and highways, it's more spacious and comfortable than Vento

Last week I went to a Maruti Arena to check out Ertiga. Their attitude was like வேணும்னா book பண்ணு இல்ல எடத்த காலி பண்ணு. Lack of proper competition for Ertiga from other manufacturers. They are concerned only about 4m SUVs.

Once the car is finalised or short-listed, it is better to test drive that particular car multiple times on different roads in different time of the day with varying traffic conditions, etc. Before buying my Nexon, I test drove it 3 times from as many dealers in 2 cities!

Am looking to buy an "Automatic" Premium Hatchback by the end of 2021. My first car. Not a very good driver yet. Usage per month: ~ 20 days in Chennai city and 2 days on a (around 1000km) long trip Since am a new driver, looking for low or moderate maintenance and repair costs. Right now I have Baleno CVT, Jazz CVT and i20 Sportz IVT in the bucket. But, considering the Automatic requirement, is it ok to go with one of the above, or choose something else? I mostly see your recommendation for Jazz. How about going for Turbo DCT on i20? Is it worth the added price for me?

That's based on your monthly usage pattern. If you use more than 1000 kms, Diesel will be the best choice
