Thank you for the video. The great value that the bees do for orchards and honey is wonderful to see.

We've had one hive for nearly two years now. We haven't looked inside since we set it up, leaving them to do their thing in the garden. Mark, would you be interested in doing a house call. You could film it if you're as curious as we are.

WOW by just starting to come out of winter looking at that beautiful brood it looks like you Better pull up Your britches an grab another gear an hang on because that colony is getting ready to go wide open. You are going to be up to your ears in swarms if you are not on the ball with those colonies. Thanks for the update on what you have going on this time of year . I hope you have the best season of all time. THANKS

Into fall here in the US. 18-30C up and down. Plenty of pollen. Little nectar. Supers off soon. We keep on a full deep in honey on plus a full rim of sugar bricks thur April. Long wet winters.

Good to see that double-layer mesh suit is effective protection against the hotter colonies. Hives like this are why I will never, ever inspect a hive without a full suit and long gloves. I've got a few like that, and they produce heaps of honey but they sure don't like me coming and taking it!
