You are absolutely the best teacher.. I've started my nail journey because of you. I've recommended all your videos to others starting their journeys as well. Thank you so much for your step by step content and in depth and detailed explanation. ❤❤
Yeah she is right. I have always wanted to start doing my nails and I don't know how. I stumbled upon one of your decorating videos because it was so flashy an eye catching then I thought who is this she must be famous! Listening to you, you sound down to earth and also you do make a great teacher. I was thinking she NEEDS to get paid for this! You should be an instructor for a nail school for sure! Or even more ambitious and very tangible for you, you should definitely acquire whatever credentials needed to start your own online nail school or atleast teach part of it like I first stated. So people just have gifts. And EVERYONE SAYS the same thing about you! You are good at the nails you explain all the right things in depth you do it slow but not too slow . And it's very hard to please everyone but u are teaching in a way that all of us say the same thing. Think about what I said. The first thing I thought was,"There are teachers at cosmetology school using YOUR videos to teach their students and you are doing the work for them. All because you enjoy it so much! Lastly, I never actually watch these types of videos for even a few mins. Unless I am really desperate for help with something Im clueless about and I am clueless about nails.....I listened to your video for ATLEAST 30 mins, rewinding and catching what I missed the first time.... Longest story short 😂 I know how Kisha feels and I wanted It to be more than us complimenting you and moving on. Really get how talented you are as an instructor so that you can reach your potential.
im a 13 year old nail tech , and let me tell you guys , she is the best teacher ever , she helped me so much , i have to clients coming up , i hope i don't mess up , but the video really , Really helped , tusm❤❤❤❤❤
I’m not gay or anything I just want to learn how to do nails for my fiancé so she doesn’t have to inconvenience herself by going to the nail salon. This is a very good tutorial. Is there any good nail drills for under 100 bucks? Or that isn’t a thing
I’m only 16 and I really want to learn how to do acrylic nails and definitely become a professional. So I’m going to order a nail kit from Amazon so I can start, I just want to say thank you for this video because it helped a lot. You’re a great teacher and the way you explained everything was honestly amazing. I’m kind of scared that I won’t be successful in this but with the help of God and my own motivation I know I will. Thank you❤️.
I'm not new to nails...but sometimes a refresher is nice. Everyone starts n begins this journey at different times. Thanks for thinking of everyone 💜. Enjoy Miami. I'm in Idaho. Total opposites.
I am 10 years old and I want to learn how to do nails so my mom doesn’t have to waste money on the nail salon she can just come to me so for Christmas my mom is going to get me a nail kit from Amazon so this video is going to help me learn 😊
I like my nails done a certain way. I have tried to go and get sets done but they never really seem to turn out how I like. So i decided to challenge myself and learn how to do them on my own. This is a really helpful video to get started. Thank you!!
First of all this was the most straight to the point yet very detailed video on how to apply acrylic nails I love all the nail video's I've watched but as a person that has a problem with staying focus this made it so much better some ppl talk too much and never get to the point
Like you, I’ve watched Natalie for a long time and thanks to her amazing videos, have learned so much and she’s helped me become a much better nail tech. Love her sweet personality !🥰
Just beginning my journey a week ago, after being released from prison a year and a half ago. Starting my lessons with an instructor Friday and I was a bit nervous about it. Thank you for confirming my confidence for me with this amazing video. I grew up in Miami, so I take this as an omen. Glory Queen. 👑
I was released a year and a half ago too! And I'm looking into starting school in the next couple months- so crazy! Congratulations and good luck to you! Keep us updated
When you use the odor reducer drops, does it affect the time for the acrylic set/dry? I do my own nails (still practicing) and my hubby complains aboutvthe strong smell the monomer leaves🙄
Currently waiting on my supplies to start teaching myself to do acrylics. I've learned how to do a ton of things by watching videos so I'm confident I can master this too and the video definitely helped.
I have just started doing acrylics about 3 months ago, it looks as if its so easy to do but honestly its so hard! I have bought somuch equipment and just want to give up. im practising every day on my hand! taking them of and on (now have damaged my fingers) whenever i use a hand they just fall of. I cant do any family members or anything because the acrylic nails come out so bad! any tips?? i find hard apliying the bead to the nail. it gets to wartery and all squishy and then it goes all lumpy and i cannot fix it with my drill or file.!! when i put the gel on its even worse, and i cannot do any design hands are to shaky lol..
Before watching this I wanted to give up I wondered why I keep practicing when my nails are coming out so bad but I’m glad I watched so now I know it was the cheap acrylic powder and liquid I was using and your tips about the brush and doing research on the products we use is so helpful these are things I didn’t think about before starting I just jumped right into practicing nails 💅Loved this video ☺️😍
This has helped me sooo much. I keep getting bumpy nails after my application thinking it was my brush not realising it’s a number of factors! THANK YOU 🙏🏽 life saving video fr 🥰
I’ve always wanted to do something with myself I love nail art and getting my nails done I’ve been wanting to start but never find a good video or teacher to teach me you got straight to the point and show what needs to be done love it🥺💗
Back in ‘98, I got a drugstore kit, I did my first set at eighteen years old. I did pretty well! Minimal filing!! Unfortunately the poop hit the fan and a bunch of stuff happened in my life. I’m going to be 45 in October, and I’m at it again!! Determined, and patient! I really can’t wait to be able to succeed, thank you for the guidance!😍🥰
Omg, first time viewer on your channel, and I'm so glad I watched your video!! I have a small nail studio and have been avoiding using my acrylics (even though I have been wanting to practice) because of the horribly strong smell. I just paused your video and purchased the odor reducing drops right now and used your code! I can't wait to get them in the mail!! 💖🤗 Thank you for including that info in your video and I am gonna sub right now!! ❤
PLEASE HELP! Im looking to start my nail journey. The beginner kit you linked says sold out, and a lot ofthe ones on amazon have bad reviews. Can you link me the best available nail kit?!
I am about to start with my journey and your videos are teaching me a lot, I just wanted to know if it matters on what set of nails you use between the clear one's or the white one's?...thanks
So frustrated with myself.. I watch & watch so many tutorials for beginners using acrylic powder & basically all of them (including this 1 above) make it look so easy. So simple but yet I can't get it right. My issues are they come out too lumpy & bumpy or too grainy looking. 😭 I just suck at it, horribly.. Mainly it's me not soaking/dipping my brush in the solution for the right amount & also I'm either getting too much beads or not enough of them. Unfortunately too since I enjoy doing my nails.. I guess I'm gonna have to continue using glued nails. Which isn't so bad since they stay on for weeks without chipping or breaking off.
Don’t get discouraged, the products you use definitely have a lot to do with the way the product goes on. I’ll leave a link to a video that will help you with liquid to powder. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pdu5qPIZi2Y.htmlsi=gOZ3kmMGOYXqGs2W
excellent video just ordered my nail kit & binging your videos!!! also i live in Pine Bluff, AR and can’t wait until you start taking new clients so I can get my nails done by the best❤️❤️❤️
Finally, Finally, Finally, I found someone who provided a video doing their own nails using acrylic and a design. You’ve have to be a professional to do this I’m assuming. Awesome video👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I’m sure once I begin I’ll have a hard time doing my other hand. Thanks so much for sharing. Loved this video!😃
You are so right about quality products! I've recently returned to doing my nails. Tried the dip. No thanks. Acrylic is faster & easier. So, I was spoiled to Tammy Taylor. About to place my order for JC. Thank you! I'll check out your site as well!
I just watched your video , yup I'm a fan . Thank you for the step by step and inspiring so many to start their journey or just doing or for fun. It's been a couple yrs, since the last time I did nails but now you have gotten me excited to doing it again. Thank you Natali 💅
I interested... I had my own natural nail in which was always done nice .. at some e point during my son medical issues .. I started biting my nails😢 literally tearing the nail bed as wel...currently i have healed some enough to get acrylics.. But still bitting a couple ..I've tried everything to stop.. what can I do to put acrylic nails on the few damage nails .. is there something to cover tgem ..loke a silicone on the nailbed then then i can glue the nails on that?can't be glue to be skin😅
Just tried practicing again just now & grrr!! Why can't I get this perfected..?? My results don't look scary bad, just not good. Scale of 1-10, I'd rate my results a 4.5/10.. What's frustrating is I enjoy doing my nails. I do them quite often. It's my hobby & how the saying goes, "Practice makes perfect" well it hasn't yet for me. I'm not improving each time I practice. & I've been practicing for yrs. Guess I gotta keep going to salons or keep using glue on nails.
Tried acrylic the other day only on 1 nail because I’d knew it would be bad. It was. Hopefully following this tutorial instead will give me better luck 😅
This was super helpful seeing your technique for beads and esp the thickness of them. I just followed along doing my nails and I love the way it worked out vs how I’ve been doing it!! Any suggestions for a non-gel topcoat? I’m super allergic to gel!
I use builder gel to do my nails but I’ve always wanted to do acrylic! I had a really cheap acrylic kit a while back but the product was trash so it was really difficult. I just might to have to pick up something that’s better quality and try it out again!
after estimating about $50,000 i spent in my nails alone in the past 20 yrs... yea its time I learn to do my nails myself.... thats a whole lotta money on just nails.... smh - do you know any license classes online or in illinois that can I get my license at? I know you sell the cert. class, do you still do that? I might just get that so I can learn the proper way to do my own nails. First I would like to start there. Maybe stay there too. But if I am half decent, then I want to get my license. If you have any suggestions? Thank you :)
First time viewing, got my first ever kit and I’m so happy to be following your tutorials to get my simple sets done at home! Thank you so much for this! ❤️
Hi Natali, i just checked out your video and my actual first video for how to apply acrylics for beginners. I am looking to begin my creative adventures in the nail tech industry. Your video was very easy to follow and I like how you spent time showing the entire process. I will be ordering my supplies through your promos and links. Thank you again and can't wait to check out more posted by you. One quick question though, what is the oil that gets applied to the hands at the very end. Is it cuticle oil?
Hey! Thank you so much for watching, this is actually an older video and I now have my own acrylic line if you are interested 🥰 www.GetNailed32.com Yes it is cuticle oil
So I am a beginner and I've watched your video a lot and I've tried it four times but I'm still having an issue where I have to keep refilling my monomer bc half way through it seems like I have acrylic in my cup thing and like it's empty of liquid not sure how to fix it from doing that also no matter how many times I wipe my brush it still feels full and gets really cakey with acrylic please help
Hi guys 😄 I’m still learning how to do my nails but I have a question… I thought we were supposed to use dehydrator and then primer but she only used primer? Im a little confused 😕 can anyone please help, thank you !
Hey! So the dehydrator is to remove the oils from the natural nail which is what I do when I remove the shine with the sanding band so I only do a primer but if you feel more comfortable using a dehydrator and a primer that’s completely fine whatever works for me may not work for everyone but I have no issues with lifting or anything
No, never. Once it’s already been used all you can do it pour it into a paper towel and toss it in the trash because if not you will contaminate your entire bottle. I always recommend just using a little at a time that way that doesn’t happen
So I bought a lot of nail stuff even the nail jewel everything like that and I wanna learn how to, but I have to get like an adapter for my nail drill and I’m waiting for my video to come in so I can do my nails on there and my make up, but I feel like this would help me a lot
I’m 46 years old always this has been my dream but too scared to do it Now I’m going through rough time in my life and I’m ready to do this please help me to learn how do I start?? I’m so lost ❤
