Ivan … maybe when you spray you can put the item being sprayed in front of the camera rather than not in front of the camera at all. That’s why we watching are watching?
Thank you for sharing your process. I know most coaters don't want people to know how to do a proper "multi pattern" camo and you got it as close as possible to the original Crye pattern. Makes me want to actually try it on my stuff. I've always held off (multicam is my favorite pattern) because it seemed daunting to me. I've been sticking to just doing solids but I think after watching your technique I'm sure I can pull it off now. Thanks again.
Your welcome and if you need any help just let me know , also if there is something you want me make a video on , toss it in comments and I’ll make it happen !!
Really helpful for my upcoming attempt at Aris Multicam . I’m trying to figure out what order to put my colors on as well as when to put on the stickers.
That looks great.. Im new to cerakote. Ive done 3 guns, 1 of them cammo. I had serious lines as i went to heavy thr 2nd and 3rd coats. How much are you cracking open the fluid adjustment knob when you're doing your last color. My issue, was i was scared of getting dry spots. Looks really good brother. Thanks for any advivice in advance. Going to do another cammo here in yhe next few days
I’m just getting started with cerakote. When doing the small parts you said light coats. Do you still worry about dry spray? Should it still have the “wet” look when the gun is turned way down and doing light coats?
I don’t understand how you’re not getting dry spray with these light dusting, but I definitely want to understand! My one stencil attempt I definitely had ridges.
What equipment do i need to start cerakoting? Im looking to do my own glock since im in mexico there are no cerakote people out here that do this Sandblast cabinet Comoressor Paint gun What other things should i consider
Looks great man. I watch these vids and i wonder do you sand and get the lines done for the stipple before cerakoting? if so do you tape that area off?
Great looking pistol! Ivan could you name colours used on it, please. I am working on my carbine stock modification, and the final step will be painting into black multicam.
Stone grey base stencils , graphite black fades and bazooka green , then tack out , bigger stencils and come back black and grey again and tack out and peel stencils final bake 2 hours at 180
Leave the vinyl on. For plastic and flash baking. 150 degrees for 10-15 min is enough. You can even cure cerakote at 150 degrees, just takes longer than typical temps. Important for plastic parts. On your last coat, take off the stencils and use in this case black and lightly cover parts of the entire project to create a more subdued effect.
@oldrabidus2230 my thoughts exactly! I'm very experienced with painting and stenciling as I am a professional customizer but my expertise is using automotive paint and other self curing paints so cerakote is a new venture for me. I'm bout to jump into guns which is not the cheapest trial and error kind of thing, so I figured I better swallow my pride and ask questions for once lol. You answered perfectly so thanks alot for that! Doing my first stenciled 9mm here soon. Can't wait! 💪
@@BrandinoTheGod my biggest hurdle in learning cerakote was using the sprayer settings to get the desired effect. Since you have experience doing automotive, cerakote isn’t a big jump! Good luck!
