Do me a fav and SHARE THIS VIDEO on your socials or with anyone else you think may find it helpful for their trip 😊👍 LOTS of hours went into this one :)
Awesome video as always legend! The segment of the Lion's Den made me a little sad - being one of the casualties of the recent floods up this way. As always, a pleasure following you!
Hey Adam, I will be doing the cape and keen for the OTT so will be watching the hell out of these videos. Also have 2021 Dmax, finding mixed reviews on breathers, did you end up relocating any and did you have any issues later on?
@@Hambourne hey mate, nice! Put all the cape vids in a single playlist 👍 I raised the gearbox breather, show it in the prep vid. Left the others as already pretty high. Transfer is closed loop. Def recommend getting some sort of sensor spray/sealant and spray the 3 gearbox plugs before doing Nolan's in particular, lots of examples of water getting in the plug and causing issues (I talk about that in #12 daily vlog). And lastly make sure you take a way to clear codes, obd/app or scan gauge etc. Have a vid on the change of it. Got me out of trouble 👍 Have an awesome trip!
nice! wish I was going agian this year! No I didn't both as they're both fairly high, one behind headlight and other at fuel filler. If you're doing the OTT, I def do recommend a breather for the gearbox however, this one just sits ontop of the gearbox. Bugger to get to but worth doing, I should this in the vehicle prep vid. Also, get yourself some electicall pluyg seal spray, and give the 3 plugs on the side of the gearbox a good spray before you start the ott and before nolans - lots of dmax/bt have had issues with the longer deep water crossings, myself included. I think it was ep12 ro ep13 of the daily vlogs I talk about the issue I had (ended up drying out overnight cleared code and was all good though).
@VideoShowMeHow thanks Adam..... Is there a specific kit you recommend....pretty well have modified my BT with all your suggestions and haven't steered me wrong.... Thanks again
@kfone7263 I only did min last minute ended up using some kit from Repco of all places. There's other kits out there though like titan Offroad etc that are a bit better
@@VideoShowMeHow A magnificent country - even with some of the world's deadliest creatures. Great compact video (first time I have seen a 4WD go arse over tit)
