Honestly, I’ve watched 6 videos on fibreglass nails and I really think you might as well use a tip. With the fibreglass some of the girls have had trouble, not that that’s an issue with practice, however the nails are thin and the structure just doesn’t seem to be there. No apex unless you build it like every other system etc. etc. you know what I’m saying. Great job and thank you for sharing this video ❤️🇦🇺

Perhaps a good method for strengthening already long natural nails, or fixing a break- like the tea bag method but I agree it’s not exactly the best method to build nail or structure

oak I'd use it if one was prone to brittle nails or ones that break easy. It could act as reinforcement.

I could see how it would take practice for a flawless application, but your statement about the nail being thin and therefore not durable couldn’t be farther from the truth. They make high performance vehicle’s bodies and boat hulls from fiberglass. It’s certainly strong enough for fingernail extensions.

Warning: beautiful nails but the fiberglass particles fly and get stuck to your body and environment, Hurts so bad until you use a strong tape to remove from your skin.

Omg my heart is breaking this is so gorgeous 😍 i used to have beautiful long natural nails but atm im a kitchen porter and my nails cannot survive anything. I've tried polygel,acrylics soak off builder gel, ordinary gel...they all peel off like rubber or rips off with nail plate. Wonder if fiberglass is any different I will give this a try But honestly your work is amazing looks so natural. Wish you could do mine :/

Love this vid, you make it look so easy! I have a couple of questions if you don't mind: I've heard that the fibre glass dust particles can be quite dangerous, have you experienced any issues? Do you have a dust extractor? And do I need to use hard gel for this or can I use builder gel in a bottle? xx

Has to be hard gel since fiber glass is not strong enough to hold its own

Adorei o vídeo, especialmente por uma coisa: muitas manicures fazem a curvatura das unhas muito procunciadas e deixam a camada de gel muito grossas, e as unhas naturais não o são. Reconheço unhas artificiais por isto. As do vídeo estão perfeitas. Só não vi o ponto de tensão ser feito, não sei se isso prejudica a durabilidade

Na realidade ela fez as unhas para ela mesma,isso significa que a unha dela não tem instrutora para uma boa durabilidade profissional,ou seja uma unha de salão precisa de curvatura e ponto de tensão,por que é isso que dá a durabilidade nas unhas,no caso ela não deve gostar e faz assim.🥰 gratidão 🙌🏻

Hi Nika, I am a brazilian living in France. I lived in London for 8 years and I use to work as manicure but it was a brazilian technique, removing cuticles. I have got some ideas of fibreglass. Lets go to the point. What I would like to ask you is a list of the material that I must have to start. There is some things that I don't have a clue how is called in english. Yes English , cos I've checked and here in France the materials are more expensive than U.K, so I would buy on ebay.uk. Could you please do this favor. I would be really grateful. Thanks a lot One more question please. The nail polish are specific ones for fibreglass or can I use any nail polish ?

Oi Silvia. Se não me engano, o gel pode ser usado, sim, na construção de unhas postiças, porém, sob tips ou molde, uma vez que, por si só não tem estrutura "aérea". Se você procurar e comprar a partir do AliExpress será mais vantajoso pra você, diante da informação posta, com a vantagem de alguns materiais separados e/ou kits conterem opção de frete grátis. Sobre os materiais, os produtos principais são: • Primer • Top Coat • Desidratador e/ou Álcool Isopropil • Lixa 100/80 • Lixa Polidora • Lixa Bloco (pra tirar imperfeições e ondulações) Espero tê-la ajudado.

Fiberglass is an amorphous silicate, it wont do any longterm damage when respirated.
