I used to do my twins' hair like this back in 2007-2014. Very, very nice job, it's so crazy how all super dope hair styles except feed in braiding. I did in the early 2000's. This is one style my twin brother loved. The area I lived in, i was one of the first to start 'Coils & Allen Iverson Braids" Again very nice!!!!!!
Your hair is freaking healthy my guy. I'm sorta one to ask about hair types but it looks like you got 3C/4A. Your coils turned out hella dope for just leave-in and oil without gel.
Thanx for the tutorial very informative👍...idk if my coils will have drip like urs bkuz my hair is not as long but I'll @ least have a new style to try out and btw thanx for advertising the wild hairgrowth oil I'll have to try it and see if i get any results😊
Thank you lol. I’d recommend try twisting your hair when it’s not wet. This may help the hair not shrink up. I’ll upload a video for demonstration soon!
Thank bro! I sleep normally and they don’t flatten. I use a durag/bonnet, but I also have silk pillowcases to help protect the hair. It can be a single use look, sometimes I do the style and take them out in the morning to have a unique curl pattern.
That's really cute and suits you fine but i am a lady with 4ZZZ hair, it only love water, it breaks combs and almost fingers. Will try it on my son though. Thanks.
Thanks bro🙏🏾 I started cooling my hair when I could pull it down to around my eye/eyebrow. Really as long as it’s long enough for you to grip then I’d say you can still try it tbh
Say I am not here for the same damn questions he mentioned at beginning of video to figure out how to do my son's hair! Now I'm bout to try this so he will shut up & stop asking for dreads!
Is it a good idea to get these the day of getting a protective style out? I know you're supposed to give your scalp at least a week break but I didn't want my hair in a huge afro so I was going to have coils in then get it braided again.
These give a coil look almost like a spring while the two strand twist look similar to a rope. Taking two parts of your hair and wrapping them around each other. While the finger coils is wrapping one part of your hair around itself
😂 really just from practice. At first I had to have my friend help me with the back, but after awhile I just got a better feel for it. And yea I’ve seen people start their locs this way before. They just keep coiling the new growth and over time the locs set in
I'm usually very circumspect with what channel i subscribe to but i'm not even halfway through and i subscribed ,its the simplicity for me ..not fifty eleven hair products ..or maybe because his texture is similar to mine what are you @Made By Maj a 4a-4b ?
Thank you! I’d say give it some practice with trying out some products that always work well for your hair. Maybe something that provides more hold for your curls. It’s a nice style to rock
@@MadeByMaj Yeah, I agree... I’ve done finger coils in the past, but they were more like curls instead of dread-like. I’d like to do the dread ones but Idk if it would work.🤔 Knowing my hair, I’d prolly have to comb it real smooth to get a clean looking coil.
I got a silk pillow case and I wear a bonnet or durag to bed. I spritz water or rosewater & glycerine on my hair every morning just to keep it fresh and moisturized. Just a lil bit not a lot
My natural curl pattern looks like a spring. In the video when my hair is wet from coming out the shower, that’s a good depiction to go off of to compare.
I’be been growing my hair out for a while and it’s about 5 inches long but im not sure if it would work using this method and I have shrinkage so I want to ask u how do you get your hair like that(before the tutorial)?
Try making sure when you cool them you are doing it in the direction you want them to lay. Then you can put a durag over them while they dry so they’ll dry in that direction
