The first time I teach my wife how to dodge is, 2 step right or left. Both is no problem. But I upgraded my dodge with side stepping one time to the left or right. But with your video, my side stepping is over 9000! Light bowgun will never need to reload again 😆😆😆😆😆🤞🤞🤞
lowkey gamechanger. I already knew about the side roll to a monster charge not hurting while leaving a window to a perfect evade, but with this tips we're making it out of 3 star kulu 🗿
This is a very interesting technique, I'll try it out. I think this happened a few times to me on accident but I never thought much of it at the time, but taking advantage of the perfect dodge when you're already safe is pretty devious ... but we need all the help we can get against those monsters!
I learned the same perfect evade technique as yours when I was practicing perfect guard. At first I thought perfect guard being harder than perfect evade due to the shorter detection frames, but nope, its the difference in detection range. The detection range of perfect evade is so huge that you are able to perfect evade something that won't even hit you. This perfect evade technique is one of the reason Bow is the top tier, some Bow hunters probably are even using this technique without realizing it. Dec 7 update won't affect the top tier placement of Bow, but merely change the arrow shot type they choose.
Most times some monsters scream at around 40-46 second on timer. So just anticipate when its about to do its scream animation then dodge either left, right or back. The key is to dodge just when the monster is about to open its mouth
@@Atlas-games Thank you for your answer! Will try it out. Great explaination and video Atlas. I am still scared because 3 stars purple (8 stars) will 1 shot you if you did it wrong. As you progress I think 8 stars monster have faster attack animation / chain attack than the counter part in 5 stars too.
@@breezeey9113 I haven't reached that level yet, I'm currently at 7 stars and I haven't seen any changes in theirs attacks, and yeah haha it is a little scary but as I said in the video it's a matter of being calm and not getting desperate.
@@Atlas-games At certain star ranks monsters get different attacks and states. For example, Barroth and Jyura start fights with mud you have to knock off. They get new attacks as the star ranks increase.
