In this video Brooke goes over how to do a shoulder roll both forward and backwards. Along with some progressions you can use to help you build up to the shoulder roll and help you get more comfortable with the motion of going upside down for a second.
Shoulder rolls are a great thing to practice as they can help you get out of certain subs and allow you to bail when you get stacked up on to your shoulders and neck. Not only does this help keep you safe but it can be a great addition to your BJJ game even if only to help keep you safe.
