How do you divide a polynomial by a quadratic expression? Set up a synthetic division bracket for THREE rows inside and FOUR zeros with TWO divisors outside and isolate the last TWO columns. Then, PLUS, TIMES, TIMES, and repeat. (Yeah you'll have to watch the video to fully get it, but it's AMAZING!)
Summarily, long division works just fine but synthetic division is quicker and has less problems in it. It's great for complex numbers and polynomials in Specialist Maths! Watch this video to learn how to do the IMPOSSIBLE!
