First off, I love the tutorials! I want to add some feedback though: I like how each step is explained individually, but I think it would be even more helpful to show the trick done very slowly, step by step, then a bit faster, then a bit faster until it is shown full speed. Along these same lines, I think a demonstration of the trick at full speed followed by a slow mo (much like how big flips does it in his videos) would very helpful as well! Overall, I love the vids and can't wait to see more!
One thing that always amazes me about Jelly flipping is the form... he barely moves his arm... it's mostly all on the hands. Can you do a tutorial approaching that? Cheers!
@@Ray-zd7me yea i just got mine a few days ago and have already got the hang of the behind the 8 ball my aim is to eventually do the octane tutorial they have on their channel
I am really struggling with the transition between the first two rollovers. The catch, the final rollover and the wrist pass come very naturally to me. The thumb Chaplin part as well. Do you have any tips with keeping the momentum going while performing behind the eightball?
I just bought a squiddy and this came exactly as I was searching for bt8b tutorials haha Edit: Please make a chaplin tutorial, I haven’t been able to get it down
every tutorial I watch just makes me want a squid product more and more lol jelly makes every balisong he flips look amazing. I have trouble with having enough momentum to transition from the 0g chaplin to the thumb rollover. I can't wait to see what tutorials you're going to have next. Pristine Work!
What I find funny about the title is these were the first two tricks that I actually taught myself. And here I am thinking that I need to learn more tricks to lol
Best tutorial channel out there, just got my trainer bali 5 days ago, and I found that I executed the Helix before Behind the 8 Ball. Is Helix supposed to be easier?
My only problem is it between the roles of both the Helix and the behind the eight-ball my knife stops in the transition from the 0g chaplain to the thumb roll over
I’m a month in, and can do these two tricks… but 4:34, not quite a basic opener into the Helix. I don’t want to know how or what variant of basic opener that was… but how long you been doing this?
I think Ben Peterson own the what is up guys… But that’s ok I try to watch all your videos Your very good and I’m learning from you. I have a trainer lucha.. I live in Canada and the selection available here is not great
I cant do Behind the 8 ball because i dont understand how to do a thumb chapelin and i cant find a tutorial for how to do one anywhere. Im fine with the chapelin on my index finger but it just flies off everytime i try it on my thumb
you say rollovers are harder, i can do them fairly consistently cant for the life of me do the thumb chaplin at the start of the 8 ball, i can barely do chaplins as is haha
I live in the UK and getting a trainer is impossible, I don't have the money to get a good trainer, so I'm stuck with £15 amazon knives that break after one roll-over ;(
I didnt get it he do it too fats and he say something that 8 dont know and i watch it amd then he didnt even tell how to pass to anthor trick to combine to it so i kinda confuse
Here I am a year later. I just watched for the helix because I have finally learned to grab the handle a little further down the get consistent flow in the behind the 8 ball. After knowing that and having that down, I just learned the helix today in about 15 minutes. Not as smooth as the bt8b with it but I got it.
