Sorry I dont know the internals of what causes the Bug. Lol otherwise I would have told Ea and fixed it. But I did refer what I do know about it too ea and the game changers and basically it just breaks if you don't do a Michigan l1 fake once prior or you do it way to quickly on the inputs

Nope works fine still. infact carpig even just put out his tutorial for it as well today. So still works since games launch haha
