@beadaholique Hi Kat, I realize this is an older video, so I'm not sure if you'll reply. My question is, when making a 3-drop peyote, does it matter how narrow or wide you make the bracelet? In other words, I think you made this one 18 beads wide. Would it work the same making it a 9 or 12 beads wide? I hope you don't find this question too silly, but that's how I learn. I should've asked ages ago. If Kat doesn't have time to reply and you're reading this and know the answer, please feel free to answer my question. Thanks Kat, I love your beautiful Bracelets (Christmas trees, etc. 💜). I hope some day you'll take the time to do a start to finish tutorial. It's how I learn best (I'm a late bead weaving bloomer🤭).
Hi Estella, yes the triple drop will work with any number divisible by three. Please note that if it's an odd division, you will need to use odd count peyote. So for example, if you want to do three stripes of three beads each, totalling 9 beads, that would require odd count. But if it's 12 beads wide, it will be 4 stripes, and therefore even count.
Weird I have shopped with you for years..but now when I go to your site...it gives me a warning that I'm in unsafe territory! Probably something to do with my MacBook but who knows? Cool thanks for reminding me of his stitch used to do a few years ago!
Hi Deborah, thanks for letting us know about this. We're having some work done on our site today so it's possible it's on our end not ours, but as long as you are visiting www.beadaholique.com directly you should be able to browse and shop with us safely as usual. If you run into any other problems or you're still seeing this warning tomorrow feel free to reach out to our customer service folks through the site's live chat, or give us a call or email at service@beadaholique.com and they'll help you out
Yes you can, it lays a little different and looks different...but if you use a high quality bead that are all the same size you should be good. I love Delicas for peyote though! Enjoy your beading Margaret!
Nice to meet you...I learned to bead from Native Americans...Iroquois growing up ..Upstate N, Y then more recently Hoopa when we lived on the RES. I would love to see some of your work!
