Transfer window: am i a joke to you?

I honestly cannot dock I’ve been to the moon I’ve orbited all planets in the solar system I’ve built a re usable spacecraft but I just can’t dock, no matter what I do the transfer window keeps moving away from me I hate it I’ve been stuck for months

I have been trying to dock a second module to the beginning of a space station and I almost did it but the space station crashed into the second module before I could dock them 😂. This video have helped a lot thanks 🙏

As a noo in the game, It helps coz as frustratingly nice as is it to get to launch in realistic mode, it's tricky getting accurate rendezvous

i did the same thing every time and The Orbit line would just move so i cant dock

its a good method but the easiest way is to get in a lower orbit than the thing you want to dock with click navigate to. time warp until it it shows your craft is over the rendezvous it will tell you the speed then burn until the speed is 0.0. then time warp until your over top of the thing you want to dock with. burn till the orbit is similar then use rcs until your right next to the thing you want to dock with then dock.

Its not a bug, you’re in a vacuum, there is no air resistance other than stop you so if you want to stop and you stop pressing the button, the rcs has to fire in the opposite direction to stop the aircraft

I actually got this first try without any tutorials like this when I was recreating the Apollo 11 spacecraft where I have to dock to the command module bc I left the moon already. Oh and don’t do this when there are like a bunch of satellites because you have to avoid them just to dock to one of the space stations or you might get confused where it is.

if u have more rcs thrusters will your craft have more propulsion? oh and good tutorial

I remember trying to do this for the first time, but I forgot to actually make an orbit first. So the other module i was trying to dock with came in at like mach 2 and absolutely INCINERATED my rocket lol

Awesome video, finally docked at my spacecraft, I would like to mention that you stated the rcs thrusters automatically fire even when you don’t touch it. This is done on purpose to automatically stabilise the spacecraft

Why did you approach with nose towards it? I approach everything backwards, from planets to sattelites

On pc to make it easier download smart sas mod once ur going near the station/rocket and did the navigation thing to the station/rocket click target in smart sas and then go to station/rocket then do the same thing

I landed on the freakin mars before learning how to dock properly

For some reason, I randomly launched Saturn 1b without following any steps, and I successfully docked to my space station.

Shortcut: make same orbit like the other rocket then timewrap for few months you can dock the rocket

You just need a simple rocket to dock while me going super complicated and hard just only for a small dock fr😂😂

The satellite has to be behind a few degrees. I know that from straight moon flights too, where I launch rockets straight upwards when the moon is at 10:00 position. Is there a way to precisely navigate this?

Bro, one problem. It changes Orbit to Earth Surface, what if am late and i just collide to earth. Does orbit change if i try to fly away or it is good to go away

i build an extrem big space Station where i can now fuel my rocket helps when you wanna fly to a Planet with big distans but you cant lift up becuse you got to much fuel so you empty the tanks that you dont need to get there and then at the space Stations you fuel your System and you can fly (tipp get some lil system to navigate)

I just need to get into orbit lower than the spacecraft im going to Dock then once im aligned with the spacecraft i fire the engine toward the space craft this is an easy way

I fear nothing in sfs, but this thing, it scares me
