Thank you so much. The iOS 18 tore my phone up! I couldn't text, I couldn't open apps - I couldn't do anything. My battery overheated, I went from 100% battery to 0 in just about 2 hrs - and my phone just kept rebooting itself. This saved my phone!

Great video! I must admit that I am currently on the first dev beta of ios18, and it’s been surprisingly smooth and overall great! I think I am sticking with this and upgrading to public betas all the way through the official release of ios18. A lot can change from now til then lol, but so far, so good!

The iOS 17(5.1) installer is the same in the EU and the US as well?

I updated to iOS 18, but have a new phone coming, and wanna go back to iOS 17 on the new phone. When i transfer my data is it also gonna transfer iOS 18 over or will it keep iOS 17 since that’s what the new phone comes with?

cannot back up using iCloud without enrol beta programme. and Beta programme will use iOS 18 (back to square)

Hi, doesn't work on iMac with Monterey. Option key + Restore button click does nothing. Then other iMac with latest Sonoma works smooth as on your video. Thanks a lot

Guys I recommend as much as the beta looks cool u should wait until ios 18 drops in September its lowkey no use to doing it early when its on the brink of issues and problems and bugs, because if u never updated while on ur ios 17 than everything is technically gone if u plan to downgrade pls dont not let ur phone get damaged by the update wait until the time is nesscary it will cause blinking mileage on storage problems with ur battery life, Problems with ur storage and a decrease of ur phone mobility ❌ do not update❌

This is great, up until it backs up your phone on iOS 18 and deletes the one you made in 17.5…so now I have no choice but to use iOS 18. Anyone have any fixes for this?
