you seem to have a pretty good understanding of this all, would you mind helping me out?? I have a 2018 MacBook Air, I'm trying to get into the whole opencore legacy patcher but idk what to download or where to start.
hey guys. I have a 2018 MacBook Air and it's been acting pretty slow recently, I was wondering if downloading hackintosh will help it get it back up to speed? I'm just needing help in where to start! if someone could help me out I'd be so appreciative. trying to get any computer ready for classes coming up this fall
Do you believe the MacOS 15.1 full installer will be released in the near term. Running M1 MacBook here and upgraded from MacOS 15.0 beta 4 to 15.1 beta 1. Runs fine except when I push the button to "Join Waitlist" it never responds with the "Waitlist Joined" message like it does on iOS 18.1. And, it never downloads the Apple Inteligence code. Thought if I had the full installer I might be able to reinstall and see if that fixes the issue. Stumped. Would sure love to try out the AI features on the MacBook. It rocks on the iPhone and iPad. Any suggestions accepted and welcome.
Running the pkg on a ma running Sonoma will only install the smaller update version of the installer app. I had to run it from a MacBook Pro running Monterey. I'm trying the terminal command now. Thank for all your hard work on these.
Monterey will certainly run very nicely on those, and probably Ventura. With Sonoma and anything later the experience varies, but since you have two of them you could try it and see if it is OK for you.
@@FireAngelOfLondon Thanks! I just want or need to get over the hump. I am having more and more apps like Google Drive for Mac sync tell me that the app no longer works on Catalina. I'll check out the two you suggested! Appreciate it.
I have a iMac 2011 12.2. After I started using Open Core, I have not compatibility problems but if you are not good with computers, make sure that you follow step by step the instructions for upgrading your mini's. You will not be sorry. None of my software was compatible anymore due to the age of my iMac until I upgraded using open core.
