Thanks for the simplicity of the tutorial. God bless you. Please ma do a video tutorial for a person with big stomach, because most of my clients have big stomach . Thanks as I await you kind response
Hello Precious, I like your method of teaching because you are quite original and thorough. You just made your own pattern from scratch unlike the other patterns I've been seeing.Kudos to you for doing a good job and then for free.Gods blessings always.
You're simply the best, your method of teaching is just so unique and very easy to understand, may the Almighty continue to help and strengthen you even as you share your knowledge with us.
You did a very good job. Perfect and easy explanations. I wonder why some people will give a dislike to this video. Thank you so much for sharing. I am looking forward to more videos
Thank you so much Precious, Your way of explanation to pattern drafting is much easy to understand. I am very grateful for sharing your knowledge. God Bless
Got so many things passing through my mind.. -When the pattern is to be transferred to fabric, will all those cuts remain that way? - for which kind of cloths should this be used on..? - Can the length of the bodice you used be on all half length cuttings? Whereas some half length cuttings take just a normal dart how will the front length be made equal when a bust dart isn't used?.. Thanks so much will be waiting on response still learning
Thanks Precious apparel.. But wish to know .. Most a times when am cutter, it's the back shoulder that's always brought down by 1.5,and the front 1", I do learning mostly online
I don't know where to start from... God will bless you and increase you. Thanks very much. I pray you see and attend to my question. For me I guess, it is better late than never. Is it necessary to transfer the bust dart to the shoulder or waist dart?
Hello Ma’am. Thank you for this detailed tutorial. Please my question is with the shoulder opened how do we adjust it to be equal and balance with the back shoulder? Thank you once again…
I watched this video three times to understand every damn step. the only thing confusing me is why transfer the darts to the shoulder? thanks for the free tutorials. God bless you
Hi precious u tried following ur illustrations to do mine but when I folded the bust dart it wasn't the same inch as the Back.... Done it more than once still the same 😢 😭 kindly assist me... God bless you for sharing your knowledge with us
thanks so much 4 this tutorials. madam P. ma question is, what dresses can dis basic block be used for and again u didn't cut out d dart of back bodice y? thirdly I noticed u didn't add any allownce to d burst point , length and even d burst span ?
Hello precious, I noticed you didn't use the same shoulder slope measurement for both your front and back bodice, please can you explain further. Thank you
Thanks for the tutorial ma,my question is for the front armhole after slanting the shoulder by 1.5 and adding 8inches length ,will the total length not be 9.5 as suppose to the back that is 9
This is the real deal here.Pattern drafting from yours truly herself,God bless you real good sister.I have just one suggestion pls,yr name, and title, pls, kindly move it to the side, where we can see everything you're doing,it's a bit of distraction.I apologise for that pls.Thank you sister
@@PRECIOUSAPPAREL ohk...thanks a lot. I actually drafted the pattern yesterday. I opened it on the shoulder but I'll close it and the transfer to the waist.
Informational & enjoyable - thank you. I do have a question. When drafting my own bodice, my lengths at center front and center back (as taken from the top of the shoulder at neck) are the same. Does this mean if I wanted a side dart that I would have to lengthen the front side at the bottom by the amount of the dart width ? Or would it be better to lengthen the side seam up into the armhole, thus shortening the armhole by that amount ( until the dart was sewn?) Thank you for any suggestions you may have to help with this.
Thank you so much and God bless you ma. You made it really simple and easy to understand. How do I keep my basic block for future use because I'm not sure this pattern paper can withstand the stress of using over and over again?
Thanks a lot Ma'am for the tutorial. May God continually increase you. Please what's the name of the paper you used to draft the pattern in this tutorial as well as the ruler used.
Hi madam Precious. Thank you for the detailed tutorial. Much appreciated.please since its d burst /side dart that equalises both the front and back bodice, how do I achieve equal(length wise) bodice for a dartless bodice?
Gud day Precious plz what if the bust is really big and the difference between the front length and back length is like 3. And around the across chest wen divided is more than the shoulder line wat can be done
Most pattern drafting books I have read indicated that sometimes the back shoulder to waist may be longer than the front. Also in some figure there is no difference between the front and back
Back puff can be eliminated by taking out 2cm/1cm/1 inche/or half inch(the amount to remove is at the pattern drafter discretion) from the waist. Mark it at the waist and rule a line from there up to the back line.
@@juliesgarb4053 thanks dear sis. I'll appreciate a detailed illustrations on this from you. You can teach people your method too. I only teach what I have tried and see how it works. Kindly follow the link on the description box and join our Facebook Group so that you can share this. Stay Blessed
Hello precious A quick question Why is your back pattern drafting drawn before your front pattern drafting. Is there a trick to it cos I feel ordinarily front drafting should be before the back . Will appreciate your response thanks
Hello Madam Precious you didn't teach us in the previous classes about this method. My question is this do I have have to draft this pattern for every person I want to sew for?
Hello Precious, but what if the person has a really big bust making the front length longer than the back by more than 5 inches, can a dart be that big?
Please ma'am precious in a situation whereby your across chest is 17" and across back is 18" how do I locate the mid point of armholes for both from and back block thanks
@@PRECIOUSAPPAREL Hi..Can we do the same for a loose fit blouse? Also if I dont have any darts in my loose blouse, how do we adjust the Back length with the Front length? Thank u
