Thanks so much for this tutorial but my problem is the measurement from my bust point to underbust is 5, and when i marked the bust cups all round it extended out of the bust point line which is already marked with allowance, should i stil cut it that way

If you mark 1/2 inch on both side under the burst, you are suppose to get 1 inch not 1.5 inch. So have been wondering how you got 1.5. Explain more. Thank you

Hello, I’m guessing your nipple to nipple measurement is 8 inches that’s why… make use of 9 inches instead so that you’ll have some space in front..it will still fit.

That two inches is to replace the dart that we took away it doesn’t have anything to do with the chest. If you don’t replace that, your top is going to be too tight.

Sis please try and reply to this , Is the dart intake the same for every burst ? Because I see one some day ago using this method with my accurate measurement . So it was tight at the chest and as a result pressed my breast .. so that take me to ask if the inches for the dart you use is for every bust or do I need to add to the dart for a big bust ?

I suspect one of those two measurements is inaccurate.Try taking the measurements again this time wearing firm foundation garments. I hope this helps.
