Fantastic tutorial. For example, if I want to make my collar higher for an off shoulder blouse by 4.5" is there any additional measurements or adjustments to consider to avoid the collar being tight when it falls/drapes around the shoullder after sewing? Thanks in advance for your response.

Just increase adjust it it be as big as you want. To avoid tightness around the neck, take the measurements properly and then add the 2" in front
