I don't think you could drape without a dress form, but here is a cheap way of making your own that does not involve wrapping yourself up in duct tape: patterns.bootstrapfashion.com/index.php/bsf-original-patterns/indie-sewing-patterns/diy-dress-form-sewing-pattern.html?limit=all

Hi, you can do it on your own body. Just wear a really tight tshirt and tape yourself and do the exact same steps that she did 😊

You can’t without, buy a pattern and make adjustments on the paper pattern.

I'm gonna sound really amateur...but is that to say for every pattern I would wanna make for say people of different sizes, I would have to get a mannequin their size? Or is there a way to adjust that one pattern to suit all sizes?

Well Done, a great Video, i wanted to know, what was the tape you used, what kind is it what was it called, dose it have a professional name and where can i get it? is it sticky tape or did you have to pin it on to the Manniquine, as ive been on the look out for this kind of tape, professional tailors tape, im in uk in england, i really liked this video, so good and made, simple, to understand. where can i see more of your work, videos?

Just drape the garment and then place it flat on a table and put a piece of tracing paper on top of it and draw. Or maybe you're looking for patternmaking on paper?

is it possible to do drape without a dressform? i mean dressforms are really expensive and also i can't find any with my proportions because i don't find in any regular sizes (i'm too small and mostly too thinn for them)

You used a half of yard of Muslim and then you cut off 3/4 of the Muslim why did you do that? And the other piece that you cut off did you then use that piece for the back?

Hi, Daniela. I absolutely lo e your channel. I am new at sewing and I’ve tried making a sweetheart bodice and my busts are too large. I am full-figured (size 16). My question is whether or not I need to buy breast cups in order to make a sweetheart bodice that does not fall. If you have time, would you be able to show a video for plus-sized bodices?

Can I make a bodice for ball gown with cotton fabric 🤔will the bonning be stable on it cause in India weather where temperature gets higher till 50 degree n more we cannot wear these kind of fabrics comfortably 😐

You can easily make your own mannequin, which is what I did since I don't fit conventional measurements.

So beautifull! I wish I had a manequin that fit me! Mine is a plus size but still wont go as big as me sadly. I need to eventually just do a duct tape dummy. Im wondering if I can drape on my self somehow. Would be hard without help.
