So so so glad I found this! I’m an artist but I think I may have some type of visual dyslexia for some shapes! And chains, especially chain link fencing, messes me up! I’m owing to have to keep working on my chains but you made this simple and easy so thanks for that! The axis where the loop around each other is where my eye seems to get tricked, or it stops understanding what it is seeing. Kind of aggravating because I really like using the motif in a lot of my work. Thank you!

You do make it look very easy, and you are an excellent teacher it is the student that is having a problem and have wish I could ask you some questions because I still cannot do it. Thank you so very much for sharing this with the people that cannot understand how to make a simple chain I can do the large lines however I can't do the others. I will continue to practice. I have looked many other videos, and yours is the best without erasing. Practice makes perfect. I need to learn. Use to do this in school with the erasing method, not good enough for me. I love your style. Maybe I can come back in a few months and show you how I have improved

You could measure and out start with dots or something similar and make a perfect chain but I think freehand looks better. Like... Way better.
