Hey Marcel! (Hoping i spelled your name right) I've only recently come across your chanel, as of two weeks ago, and i will have to admit that i am loving how helpful all of your tutorials are! It has helped jolt my motivation back to life again as i have begun practicing based on what i already knew while mixing it with what you have been teaching me. Just wanted to say, thank you for these short yet plentiful tutorials! It has helped me a ton. I'll keep everyone posted on my slow but eventual progress 😅 Journey update: I have become much better! My male anatomy has reached a new peak and now I genuinely don't need help from references, but would still like to use them anyways 🤣 I will continue my journey and update you some more!

Your tutorials are so helpful I've seen them 20-30 times but still somewhat suck at side view especially 😅 I've been drawing them daily but I'd like a more detailed video on different angles

I have been trying to develop my own style of art and while doing so I noticed how the eye guide lines help so much because a slight angle or size off could make a BIG change. And try to use that guide to maybe make a general guide for the mouth because the angle of that also hits

I literally came back to drawing after half year and that's what I struggled with. Thank you for that guide!

Funny thing, I had the exact same materials (pencils, erasers) in the exact same order on my sheet of paper when I started my video. And my end result is not perfect, but not too bad. Thank you Marcel. Practice is the key and you help a lot.

Remember this works for DLAS but everyone has different methods and it’s up to you to venture and experiment to see what works for you. My greatest advice when learning heads ( if you are serious) is to learn realism before you stylize. Also learn the 3d contours of the head so you can draw it in all angles with ease. This tutorial is great for a front profile in DLAS’s art style but if you want to really progress, pick apart the video and learn what works for you and evolve you own methods from his. Most artists fail at drawing things that they don’t understand. Work smarter not harder champs.
