in this video, I will give you step by step directions on how to draw a walking fashion figure!
of course, there are many different styles of drawing - this is one method I like to use.

just wanted to say ive always struggled and doubted my abilities with fashion sketches, but this video really helped me understand and break down the fundamentals, which i found always overwhelmed me. after my second try i surprised myself and was able to be satisfied with the result. thank you so much for this video!!

I watched Nick Verreos's video about sketching croquis and didn't have much luck. I followed along with yours and had pretty good success for the first time. I used regular computer paper! nothin fancy - but sometimes I use a light box (I bought one on Amazon for around $30) if I’m using a thicker paper

How do you do figures that look like real people and not unrealistically emaciated models?

You should see mine as it looks like an alien (LOL). I think that has to do partly with using centimeters instead of inches so my measurements must be a bit wrong because the legs are way too long. I will keep practicing.

hey don't get discouraged after the first few tries! it took me years to get "good" at drawing, and i'm still trying to improve. I have two free templates linked in the description of the video that you can print and use as a reference! when I first started out I found that it was helpful to trace other artist's works to get a feel for the proportions
