3 missing view examples are provided start to finish to show you how to draw a missing orthographic view using the miter line.
When given only two of the front view, top view, right view, you will learn how to draw the third. Though these missing view problems show how to draw a missing orthographic projection completely, the same concepts would also be useful for orthographic projection missing lines problems where all views are provided, just incomplete.
Gaining experience in how to draw missing views, or in engineering graphics and engineering drawing in general is an important step for engineers since you’ll need to proofread drawings to ensure the final product is constructed as intended. Internal consistency between different views is essential to correctly manufacture your part.
